The Corbii de Piatra Monastery, a monastery cave, left to destruction
🔴 The Corbii de Piatra (Stone Ravens) monastery is located in the village of Jgheaburi, Corbi commune, (Argeș county). The monastery is a 14th-century rock ensemble, re-established in 1512, during the reign of Neagoe Basarab.
The stone monastery was reopened in 2003 and since then there are daily services after the monastic ordinance. It is part of the so-called initiatory triangle Monastery Cetatuia, monastery Corbii de Piatra, Monastery Namaiesti.
