I'd argue that the majority of your fanbase are silent enjoyers who come to watch you play magic. Don't sweat the haters. There is a reason you have the amount of subs you have.

Hi, it's me, one of the usually silent enjoyers. CGB is one of like 2 KZread channels I keep up with these days and I've loved watching his videos for what feels like a decade. Always leave a like and watch till the end, to the point my fiancée recognizes the outri music. That said, I try to limit my screen time, and coming up with comments for daily videos is exhausting without just repeating myself. Much love CGB ❤️

I watch both CGB and LVD, their contrast in personality is funny. But there is clear and concise way of detail that goes into explaining their rationale. Magic the Gathering is a fun game and brings people from different walks of life. You can have people like CGB who is talkative, funny, and self depreciating, and you can have the quieter, more in tuned, 100 different possibilities like LVD.

CGB always takes internet comments to heart and I hope he won't let them get to him so much. Also compared to other youtubers CGB is soooo milktoast friendly, even on his streams. I don't get how you can see him as a villain. Keep it up have been enjoying your content for about 4-5 years daily ❤

Unfortunately the MTG:A matchmaker won't let this happen. If your deck counters a specific thing, you generally won't be matched against that thing.

@@No1ofConsequence So true. I started running Spiteful Banditry in a blue/red control deck, now I never see mono white so I can wipe out all their sweet, sweet 1/1s. Literally just one change to the deck, different queue. So weird.

Here's my take on this whole "Rivalry", I religiously watch both of you guys. But i go to LVD's video like its a class in college, i go to Luca to learn a big brained version of decks I'd never think of crafting for not knowing the synergies. I go to you to feel like I'm watching a friend of mine kick some ass in Magic, you make me laugh, I love the competitive trash talk, the over the top intros and ad reads, all of it. You two bring something completely different to the table and I couldnt appreciate either of you enough for keeping me interested in magic for all these years. You're cool CGB.

I’m happy you addressed it, the drama was getting really annoying. People should be pissed off at Hasbro, hell if you want a person to mad at Chris Cocks and the board is right there. They’re the ones that decided to cut spending despite record profits at WotC.

I actually only discovered LVD because of you. Back in the magic duels days I was subbed to SuperMadLad and you (yes I remember the playstation camera days) and he started showing up in recommended. When the U/B reanimator deck came out I just thought to myself "oh sweet I get to see someone else play this cool deck too!". Both of you are great for different reasons and I think that the vast majority of both your viewers understand how these little coincidences pop up from time to time.

CGB this is for you man, so really when things got bad in quarantine and I was out of a job and my bills weren't doing so great and my life was in shambles you were what helped me get through that and have something to look forward to. Not just you because I have my own self motivation but you were a big part of helping me get back to having hope for my dreams. I have always wanted to play games for a living and have on several occasions been good enough to do so, not magic but it is what it is. Those times came and went and I got stuck as just a normal factory worker trying to pay bills. So when my plant shut down and well the modern plague hit I had alot of time on my hands but I really had alot going on in my life and lost ambition for alot of things I loved, Magic was one of those things. You helped me see Magic as something I could love again and share with people and for that thank you. If anything I know that you are the one in best of one and you are cool 😎 I'm not worried that people think you are whatever...Doesn't matter I watch alot of high level players Legend included however you play very differently build differently for different reasons and well are very obviously different people, can't copy an original. Anyway I wish you luck in your next journey to being the best in whatever you do. Peace ✌️

I am happy about every video from you CGB. You have your own unique style and for me you resonate most of all the Magic players that are available. Perhaps because I was a super uncool kid at school and got my good share of bullying and I really enjoy my "you're cool" at the end of the video. Well for what it's worth: Those haters can yell whatever they want, being rude about it doesn't make it true.

The first game explains EXACTLY how Arena functions in the matchup algorithm. And so do all the other games. This nightmare is exactly what I experience all the time cause the deck is exactly the kind of deck I like to play.

I hate this deck was skewed just a bit further into spells than creatures for Phyrexian Censor to work. Seems like that sort of lock type piece would be right up CBG's alley. It is tremendously good in all Phyrexian decks for slowing down opponents way down. Honestly I just like the super long turn after playing it as you know they are trying to figure out what is happening.

Big LVD fan here. I hope the few comments you got didn't sour the image of his community. I've watched his channel for years bc of his controlled temperament, strategic insight, and sense of humor. Obviously I watch this channel for some different and similar reasons. But both channels have been a staple of mine since 2017-18. Hope all this drama blows over for you guys. Cheers!

Both you and LVD are enjoyable to watch for different reasons. And you're 100% correct on the deck ideas--the way the game is designed makes certain strategies rise to the top, and those in the know will pick up on those strategies, with probably minor changes for personal flair.

In the 90s, two major research groups (one public and other private) raced to publish the first completely sequenced human genome. It was a fuss back then, a real dispute followed closely by researchers in the field. They both published their works in the 2000, the private company winning by a couple months ahead. At 22:43 in the game against the mardu deck I think there maybe was a missed an opportunity to corrupt them with the double strike attacker by giving an extra two toxic by using skelv on attack. It's possible there to get really blown out by a cut down but if they were corrupted on turn 4 it's not hard to imagine the rest of the game playing differently.

5:55 Those one damage to everything are still really good in mono red, especially in the Mechanized Warfare pile. Even without it, it destroys your deck, destroys mono-white tokens, and if you get to have a few in hand and/or time it after having played a Mechanized Warfare or two, it can even give you a one-mana board wipe that got me to destroy some control decks.

Mana man made a video with a similar deck... interlopers is sweet cause anything over power 2 gets cleared then swing in for lethal for sure turn 5
