“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return to star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, under the direction of Michael Chaves (“The Curse of La Llorona”). The film also stars Ruairi O’Connor (Starz’ “The Spanish Princess”), Sarah Catherine Hook (Hulu’s “Monsterland”) and Julian Hilliard (the series “Penny Dreadful: city of Angels” and “The Haunting of Hill House”).
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” was produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, who have collaborated on all the “Conjuring” Universe films. Chaves directed from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (“The Conjuring 2,” “Aquaman”), story by James Wan & David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, based on characters created by Chad Hayes & Carey W. Hayes. Serving as executive producers were Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Michelle Morrissey.
The behind-the-scenes creative team reunited “Conjuring” Universe contributors, including director of photography Michael Burgess, production designer Jennifer Spence, costume designer Leah Butler and composer Joseph Bishara, along with the director’s editor from “The Curse of La Llorona,” Peter Gvozdas, and editor Christian Wagner (“Furious 7”).
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is the seventh film in the “Conjuring” Universe, the largest horror franchise in history, which has grossed more than $1.8 billion worldwide. It includes the first two “Conjuring” films, as well as “Annabelle” and “Annabelle: Creation,” “The Nun,” and “Annabelle Comes Home.”
New Line Cinema presents An Atomic Monster/A Peter Safran Production, “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.” It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film opens in theatres and IMAX nationwide on June 4, 2021 and will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from theatrical release. The film is rated R for terror, violence and some disturbing images.

Actually Annabelle Creation was the darkest chapter it’s the only movie with most deaths and a truly tragic story. The Whole Mullins family literally died just because they tried to contact their daughter again.

I like how all of the Conjuring movie (universe ) were set back in time, from 1952 - now and that makes the movie looks special and kinda give a nostalgia feeling in horror theme.
I really loved the movie! Don’t listen to the negative comments. It’s definitely a unique film compared to the first two, but it still stays fresh and intriguing. The case and storyline is different from the first two and it takes us on Ed and Lorraine’s most complex, most dangerous, and sinister case yet. It still has those familiar Conjuring vibes that we all love, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga were absolutely phenomenal yet again, there’s plenty of scares and creepy scenes, it’s very atmospheric, and has the darkest villain yet (The Occultist). The film takes us to places we haven’t been before and delves into Satanic Worship, curses, murder, witchcraft, and the dark side of spirituality. Lorraine’s clairvoyance is explored more than ever, the murder case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson is very interesting, and there’s lots of heartfelt and touching moments. Especially between Ed and Lorraine. I loved the flashback scenes of when they were young and this film shows how they first met. Lots of suspenseful moments, the characters are interesting, and the tone of good overcoming evil is very powerful. The film’s true crime/supernatural plot is a very unique mix. I highly recommend it, especially for fans of The Conjuring Universe! ♥️

God this movie was great! The fact that it’s not just a haunted house story like the first 2 makes it different and great. While it may not be as scary as the first 2, the story was definitely great!

The best scene was when Ed was fighting and casting prayer against the Juggernaut then realized that it was Lorraine all along. The intensity of their acting on that scene was BRILLIANT! 💯👏🏻🙌🏻

Just finished watching it. It was amazing. It also got story about Lorraine and Ed's past life and how they met. Romance plus horror. Sweet.

I’ve watched this movie. It was amazing. I just loved it I wish they had done more movies about Ed and Lorraine Warren .
This is probably the creepiest trailer for the film! Especially the “Call Me” by Blondie part! All my friends who saw The Conjuring 3 said they absolutely loved it, the story was very intriguing, the scares were great, and some of them even said it was the scariest and darkest Conjuring film yet! Can’t wait to see it! ♥️

I love how Lorraine (Vera) looked at Ed (Patrick) for forgetting his pills. The best and funny part of the movie, Ed looked terrified. 🤣

We need atleast two movies per year to satisfy our thirst for horror movies ...looks awesome....loved the Conjuring series

I agree totally! My friends who saw it absolutely loved it and had so many positive things to say about it! Especially Ed and Lorraine’s relationship. They said this film was Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga’s best Conjuring performances yet!!!!

Even though it’s a horror movie, The Conjuring Universe also focuses on love and light, good overcoming evil, love defeating fear, inspiration, and genuinely touching and heartfelt moments. Especially between Ed and Lorraine. You need to become more familiar with the franchise.

Conjuring series is one of my favourite movie's... Not only horror, but it packs all the best qualities a movie should have
Seriously gave me goosebumps but definitely the devil is not gonna scare me like it didnt for the other 2 movies😂

Agreed. I know that some of the demon's appearances in the other movies were scary and all but I honestly love horror movies more when you can't see the ghosts or demons. It's all just based off of atmosphere and unnerving/disturbing moments

@@darriaga4953 Yeah, I did like it - it’s pretty good. But I feel like over the years horror movies are getting less and less scary. It’s definitely worth a watch in the cinemas but after a while you should re watch it at home for a much 'scarier' experience.
