The Dark Occult is a psychological driven horror game that puts players in a constant state of anxiety that crescendos into raw panic and terror. The game takes place in a decaying manor with demonic entities and strong ties to the occult. You will encounter grotesque creatures, who will take your life at any moment. Your only goal -- survive.In The Dark Occult, players will enter the game exploring a seemingly abandoned house that is consumed with demonic activity. Players are sent to the Atkinson House to investigate unusual happenings surrounding the death of the owner. Upon entering the house, players discover that they are unable to leave and are haunted by an incessant demonic woman who stalks them with murderous intent. Demonic artifacts must be destroyed in order to survive. Players must be hyper-aware of every move, twist and turn, as the woman is always lurking. The Dark Occult fully immerses players in an environment filled with anxiety, panic, and real consequences that scar. .

This has to be one of my favourite horror games ever. There's just something about classic haunted houses/mansions and open world aspect. Love those game to bits there needs to be another game like this.

the ending tell us when you have time to leave run faster. don't open the door slowly
evil lady creature shows up, has insta kill but throws protagonist around for fun one house has 40+ different keys the house has a cell, 77+ bedrooms, 2 toilets, a ritual underground, a national park and the night king hasn't showed yet first half of gameplay understandable, second half just take things, insert here, switch this, this is a dream, this is reality, who cares great gameplay though

Outlast 2 was the scariest game I've ever played. This looks very similar or maybe even worse. Alien Isolation and Resident Evil 7 are the two best Horror games ever made in my opinion.

I agree for Outlast 2.. I have 31 years and I was have nightmares couple night after playing Outlast 2.. Freaking Marta and herectics .. My god ..

Actually, with alien and resident evil I felt almost any tension playing them. But maybe is just me. (never played outlast)

This game is like "Resident Evil meets Silent Hill". It incorporates certain elements from both games, most notably huge mansion like in RE and manequins and dolls from SH.

Frame rate is awful in this game. I had lots of frame rate drops even with an RTX2080 and an i9 processor playing at 1080p.

Games atmosphere is amazing it gives me nerves sometimes i jumped on my chair , but there is a huge stupid things i think they try to put un necessary things to longer the gameplay i mean i grab the torch and goto nearest fire place bumm door closed so i went another and buum door not open so finally i managed light the torch and than what? the fckn witch keep following me and had no talisman and this stupid things add another boring +1 hour to game play..

nice game but a stupid start to the game at least they could have it like outlast ,where you drive to the mansion first and do some exploring before shit hits the fan
