The most recent The Conjuring 4 news comes from Patrick Wilson himself, who was asked if he would direct the new Conjuring movie following his directorial debut, 2023's Insidious: The Red Door. However, while he's clearly well-versed in horror, Wilson is hesitant to direct The Conjuring 4. The actor and director explained, "I wouldn't dare try to pitch myself for something I didn't feel passionate about. So the honest-to-God truth, and I really mean this, and it sounds so lame, but I would have to see the story." Wilson revealed that he is acting on the advice given to him by James Wan; "it's what James told me, which is, "Make it yours. Make it personal."
The Conjuring 4 has been greenlit, but there's no known The Conjuring: Last Rites release date yet. There was a three-year gap between the first and second Conjuring movies and a five-year gap between the second and The Devil Made Me Do It. It can be expected that The Conjuring 4 might take a similar amount of time, and it could be released sometime in 2024 or 2025.

They confirmed that they cancelled it. They said Theres not enough information and Plot for a crookedman movie. The crooked man was just a character that showed up like the old man that was on old chair. All these characters were the same demon “valak” the nun

I love the movies too. For their entertainment I guess. The very first conjuring scared the s*^t out of me because of the things I’ve dealt with in my own life. However part of my family is from CT. God bless my grandmas soul as she is no longer here but she knew Lorraine. These stories with the movies are not true to what actually happened. I’m going to use the first one as an example. Ed and his wife didn’t have much to do with that case at all. In fact when they went to the home it made things way worse. Go and look the family up. They’ve spoken about it many times

Quick theory: “Last rites” - last conjuring movie?? Additionally, maybe all the scenes from past connected movies, means that the demonic entity they’re facing is going to be extremely powerful? The voice lines are different

Wether it's in The Conjuring 4 or The Nun 3, I want to see Maurice's exorcism!
They need to do a new story, based on the Warren’s experiences. There’s so many, they need to pick a good one. I think the first one is genuinely scary and successfully done. The others was based on the template of the first. They need to make it good and not having a follow up film of its own, I.e. Annabelle or The Nun. There’s some very good cases out there that have not been explored.

The Warrens never had a case dealing directly with Satan. They have some pretty good stories in their books you should check out if you're a big fan.

Yeah but sister Irene is somewhat told or heared as mother of lorraine warren in this series not sure but both are direct decendents of St. Lucy as they have similar visons of a demonic entity cant wait to see them together

It’s been confirmed as far as I know that there will be, this is not the trailer as no release date or anything has been announced but I have seen where it’s confirmed there will be a 4th movie.

The conjuring4 the last rite maybe sequel after the nun 2 about morrise death shown In the conjuring2 because the last rite means death, or maybe another cases. That is just my theory. But it make sense since the order are: -the nun -the nun 2 -the conjuring the last rite(maybe) -the conjuring 2( take place after morrise died) Although the trailer is fanmade. Ed and Lauren one of them can’t die, since it is confirmed that in the conjuring the devil made me do it, they lived happily ever after.

Actually chronologically this is not the order… It was the nun, Annabelle Creation, the nun 2, Annabelle, the conjuring, Annabelle comes home, The curse of La Llorona (spinoff and mostly unrelated ), the conjuring 2, the conjuring: the devil made me do it.

I know this is fan made, but they really need to make the next one about Maurice Theriat! The French man who almost killed his wife and I think a movie about him could POSSIBLY tie into how the demon nun came to America through Maurice Theriat. Since they already made the nun movies about it. The warrens and a priest did an exorcism on Maurice which was actually recorded and I believe to be the most terrifying thing I've ever seen. The movie depicts larraine warren having a horrible experience with it and scared her straight for 8 days. That's just my thoughts and it could be a real good one!
