"It's basic nuts and bolts" Yeah let's ignore the big fucking weld that holds the two halves together, or the fact that it's impossible to find parts for most compressors.

Why? A new compressor costs about $100-150. I would charge that for the welding alone.

۲۵ سال تعمیرات یخچال و لباسشویی و کمپرسور یخچال انجام دادم دوره‌ای که موتورهای دانفوس ناسیونال لبه دار نیکی تروپیکال پوسته بلند و کوتاه بود وبعد موتورهای روسی و. وستینگهاووس تی ۳۷ تی۴۴ و تی ۶۳ تو بازار بود.چه موتورهای رو که امیدی نبود زنده کردم.یادش بخیر.نه مثل الان که موتورهای هایتک کونور و...چینی یک بار مصرف آمده.

yep cuz there no replacement parts available for sale in my country😢

Remember folks, the only thing that controls this compressor is a plain jane thermostat. Not 7 control modules

I wish we have a technician here in the Philippines

Of course it looks like really replaced almost everything in the inside the shell, not sure why he took the new components apart to blow air through the windings to just throw it back together again. Hardly seems like it would be worth it with difficulty getting that thing welded back together with no leaks. Interesting though for sure.

I like it, what he’s doing is an art however, I wonder what the rate of return is for rebuilding compressor as small as those, when you think about the man hours, material used to rebuild it, would it make more sense to buy it from the supply house? 20 to 25 USD maximum for removing compressor reparing installing back, gas filling and make refrigerator or freezer in working condition. New compressor cost around 100usd and gas fill and installation seprate 10 to 15 usd

@@sohaib.s1573not even close. A new compressor replacement with installation and charge for refrigerator in US is $600-$800. Includes compressor, start relay and condenser, filter dryer, refrigerant, and labor. Most compressor install kits cost $350 wholesale. The distributor is probably buying that new compressor for the appliance manufacturer for $150-$200. The appliance manufacturer is probably buying it from the compressor factory for $50-$90. The reman market would almost have to be direct to installer, however, how would the installer have a warranty? Direct to installer, a reman would probably have to be priced at around $150-$200 with a 1 year warranty or longer in order for it to be worth while for everyone involved. Even at that, the installer would probably charge $500-$600 on the job. Try talking someone into doing the job on a 15 year old refrigerator for that price when everything else has aged. By that time, the thermostats/electronics, fans, dampers, and heater are at risk of failing. There’s also the possibility that contamination from a burned out compressor is also in the sealed system. Most consumers won’t take on the risk. But if you have a shop doing 5-10 at once for adequate testing and efficiency, then I could see it for refrigerator resale.

Because everybody is buying junk an cheap stuff, in the old days there was more quality and refrigerators were lifetime machines, I live in Europe and I have a general electric fridge from the US and it's manufactured in 1947 and it's still working, and no..... It's not using more power than a modern refrigerator, that have we tested.

​@@michelvandebeek3697I have both old refridgerator and latest one. The old one is still working fine but its consuming much more power than the newer one. The latest one is of just 65W, bringing down my monthly electricity bill. The quality of material has gone down but newer technology is more efficient. Old ones are lifetime machines but newer ones are just for around 7-10 years.

Lots can run that high does not mean it should its a low power compressor so 100psi or less

I mean ya its just not rated to run on that high of a psi on normal operation to high of a ratio it burn out in seconds. Window AC, refrigerator, low power unit works under 70psi or so on the high end.
