There's something to be said for any economy where restoring equipment makes more sense than tossing it in a landfill, as well as encouraging this sort of skilled craftsmanship.

I did exactly this type of work right here in the USA. The compressors had V clamps to hold the two Bowles together, a complete shop with all I needed to keep these parts clinically clean, new parts, testing equipment, safety gear, benches, million dollar shop, etc...you can't just wipe them down with a rag. I am struck and amazed. Amazed these pumps last a few months, maybe longer? But when you gotta do what you gotta do...we are so spoiled here. Good for them....Great job!

What was done to this compressor was a waste of time. If you were doing this you were doing pointless work. To check a hermetic compressor you just check suction and discharge, drain the oil, heat it up to get out any moisture and put new oil.

The rapture will happen without a doubt. The rapture will happen much sooner than many believe (much less than 10 years according to all the environmental, weather signs , israel timelines, astronomical etc showings: luke 21:11 . It will happen without any warning , not one , in an instant , catching masses of people off guard just like God always does, ie the flood , sodom and gomorrah ~ a rude awakening . Matt. 24:44 jesus said Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. No one knows the exact day or hour the rapture will happen is a certainty . THE RAPTURE CAN HAPPEN NOW at ANY TIME make no mistake !! . Please awake to Christ Jesus which is the ONLY hope NOW and dont let yourself find out it IS all true later when its too late and you have been left behind in the most terrible times the earth Has Ever experienced Before and ever will...for anyone who sees this and doesnt know what to do please If you havent given your life and heart to Christ Jesus you will have REAL BIG problems way bigger than any problems you have Ever had If you are left here on earth after the Rapture . After the Rapture The USA , Worldwide , will face More evils , Inner city chaos, firearm wars etc etc ,power and water , food shortages , military invasions, mass executions (yes much blood will be required by antichrist ) etctec than it Has EVER been seen Before and you surely dont want to be Here then . We Have Time NOW to change , please seek Christ Jesus while there is still time to save ! no one knows the day or hour of the rapture ,But the rapture will start out just like any other day .....The Rapture will Take Place In the day In Broad daylight, sunny day , In an Instant FLASH without ANY warning , and there will be peoples Driver Ids, cell phones ,wallets found in various parking lots , Purses bill folds Found at work etc etc with NO explanation , and People VANISHING so No One can refute it has taken place. . romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. rapture ready . com Many of those that are left behind were seen in deep regret and many hung themselves on fences on interstates , and roadways and different places, their cars left by the roadside and many others also used their cars to kill them selves wrecking into things . It will be a horrible time , and regret will cause many to commit suicide . NOW is the time, dont wait until its too late seek Please Christ Jesus NOW. Those not going in the rapture and left behind , who rejected Christ Jesus' Love, and those that are practicing sin will have a big nightmare when left after the rapture example woman dancing in topless bar practicing sin , will NOT go in the rapture when it happens abruptly , and many other examples of willfully practicing sin daily .matthew 25 :1-13 parable of the 10 virgins, 5 were wise 5 were foolish and payed a severe price . Acts 3:19 all unrepented sins19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Please seek Christ Jesus NOW with your heart, please repent change while theres still time left .

@@rinkinkel ... Your comment is baseless. This young man is somewhere around 14 to 15 and is in a apprenticeship just as an apprentice would be in a westeren country. From the looks of the work place and his work his employer will be more than happy to offer him a full time job one day. If he doesn't he would have to be an idiot. We can only hope that in western countries young people finally learn to get up off their asses and learn a decent profession again. Simply because sliding from one chair to another in a university, to then be unemployed when they are finished is not a solution. No one needs shit loads of empty headed big mouths that have no idea what it means to put in a honest days work. Not all of them of course, but too many because the system has been screwed up over the last 40 years. BTW for those that have no inkling about how the real world functions at some point (usually the last year of learning a trade) one is expected to participate in the production to prove that one has absorbed what is necessary to fullfill ones place in society. That's called logic, but we have people forming politics these days that lack it up to 80% in their own heads IMO.

@off spec your car engine would not be considered new but refurbished. when reconditioning old engines only parts requiring replacing are replaced. you could have an oil pump that was considered ok so re-used but that oil pump could well stuff up after a few miles or a hundred miles. same goes for many other parts, it will not be a 'new' engine. even if every part besides the block heads and rods crankshaft cam shafts headers inlet manifolds were replaced its still not new!

Wait, did that sticker say “Panasonic”??? 😜 I hope (doubt) they pay them enough because they won’t be living long healthy lives doing that work without personal protection equipment. The noise, the particulate matter, the chemical exposure, the UV from the welding process, etc., of risk in one single job. I do respect their work and I hope better for them. Good work and good luck!

The complacent disregard for a simple guard on the cutting disk made me SMASH the dislike button. The lack of gloves when dealing with a component that he KNOWS has been SATURATED with toxins, not ONCE does he wipe his hands. The fluid he poured out, will undoubtedly be flushed downsteam, significantly affecting anyone in the now contaminated foodchain. Water treatment aint happenin' there,so good luck eating the local produce. This is precisely why I get bloody angry when they ship 'recycling waste' abroad "because its cheaper". This video highlights the real reason WHY we should do it ourselves, locally.

@@iwantitpaintedblack A seat belt won't always save you in a car accident either. But like a guard it should always be used. Its absence is indicative of complacency concerning safety procedures, such as the SAFE removal of the gases they have been in contact with. EACH compressor has been in contact with toxic refrigerant for at least a decade. This one worker is repairing several per day, thus increasing his exposure. The heavy metals he is grinding from the compressor are being converted into dust which he is inhaling throughout his working day.... (...these metals will enter his lungs,lead,solder,carbide,iron,aluminium,mercury).....since they will enter the bloodstream DIRECTLY they will cross the blood brain barrier before they ever reach his kidneys...... VENTILATION,and AIR FILTERS are needed but for this poor sod...it is already too late. ....the same dust is all over him after he leaves work and goes home. google.... industrial disease/steelworkers.... ...also....when he goes home to his family......even if he showers he is still contaminated with all that dust, its embedded in his skin pores, if he picks up his toddler, that child will suffer poor health.Ask any uk.coalmining family for confirmation of the HARM DONE TO THEIR CHILDREN FROM THIS CONTAMINATION. Education is a wonderful thing to continue AFTER your lessons are over. Who knows WHY your teachers never took the time to teach you these basic facts. Look up the ....sony factory explosion....(aluminium paint aerosolised and lack of ventilation in the factory.....and somebody sparked)same thing happens with a bakery silo, there is also the infamous wood flour explosion in the uk++ ++google the news reports and the hse report of the events leading up to.......bosley explosion court case.

All that we were taught in HVAC class was a lie! You can have grinding dust enter the compressor and then later have them flow to the capillary tube. You can hammer the compressor around. You can flip the compressor over and over again. You can paint and weld with the suction lines open so the paint can enter the shell. You can test run the compressor without any oil in it.

The welder had the kerf groove left from the metal cutoff blade that was used to rip the lid off of the compressor. It would have left a perfect trench to fill up with that stick welder rod. They all did pretty damn good work considering the working conditions in the shop. I was only bothered by the fact that the tube ends weren’t completely sealed shut during the metal/ paint grinding process. And then during the stun removal process the way it was brushed by that slag brush could have pushed brazing slag or other debris into the ports before they were sealed up. Compressor should have had a good vacuum and dry nitrogen charge added for a higher quality product just before pinching off the process tube but I bet these are ultra bargain cheap rework units so cost is the ultimate factor. Good job though for sure!! Thanks for sharing this OP!
