Resident Evil 4 (original and Remake) is what I prefer the most. Also, I like RE6 for its gameplay, and story could have been better.

Las Plagas translates to The Plague not Pests.

Common mistake re 2 events and re 3 events ain’t happening simultaneously. First came Re 3 since there are still activities in the city like evacuation and such and re 2 happens when everybody is either out or dead. However there’s an overlap. When Jill passes out is when Re 2 remake starts.

It kinda shows how crazy the resident evil backstory has become over numerous games

Buddy thats a 2 and half hour video, you can be articulate enogh to sum up the lore in a shorter time period then that if you arent a complete sped thats just a waste of time

It should be noted that all of the animated movies as well as the Resident Evil animated series on Netflix are all canon to the video game timeline and have a lot more information and incidents that happen. Also once again, Operation Raccoon City, Outbreak and Outbreak File 2, Darkside Chronicles, and Umbrella Chronicles were not included in this for some reason, which means it is not the complete timeline even Video Game wise. That being said, still a decent video.

I love Resident Evil Series so much.

Spent most time on the original RE2....took me forever to beat Hunk's storyline. My nephew and I spent alot of time on RE5, really liked playing with another person.

You forgot Degenration, Damnation, Salvation, The Manhua(Spelling unclear), and Death Island. They are canon to the Main RE game timeline. So is Umbrella Corps, weirdly enough.

Birkin blew up the training facility, not Wesker.

@@katherinetyler5543 Trying would require playing the games. Sarcastic answer aside, looking at the CAPCOM timeline and realizing that some of the stated titles aren't even part of the story anymore would count as trying.

Is the reason why we have the greatest horror franchise in game history so we got. but the real thing I do give her credit mostly are the fours are easily the best characters in resident evil village. I love Heisenberg. I love Dimitrescu. I love Beneviento. I love Moreau. I feel like all four of them deserve redemption after what mother Miranda did to them and is ashamed they didn’t do a DLC story with them alone.

Videos called resident evil timeline video starts off with one of the only two games that are not resident evil. They made great games and slapped old title on it that had no business being there

Raccoon City will always be the franchises pique storyline in my opinion, as so many people, factors, scandals and conspiracies were involved in its development and equal demise. It’s like a pseudo tragedy or whodunnit. Raccoon City was only as invulnerable as the company that funded their success, they were merely a front for a literal underworld. No different than sitting on a fault line or dormant volcano, it wasn’t a matter of whether Raccoon would fall, it was how and when? A cutthroat multi conglomerate instilled with power struggles full of sociopaths, egomaniacs, and killers. Third party organizations, rival companies, and foreign nations undermining, sabotaging or infiltrating the company. Skeptical citizens snooping around, turncoats in local and federal government, spies fishing for high level access around the city. Any combination of these factors could’ve prevented or even initiated an outbreak intentionally or inadvertently. It just so happened to be a poorly executed firefight that sealed the fate of the city. To which the US are even culpable for working with Umbrella prior to the outbreak, and mishandling Birkin’s amnesty that allowed Umbrella to intervene before he could defect. Even thought the live actions were mostly unfaithful and poorly written. I do like how they confirmed that their version of the outbreak that went global was intentionally caused by corporate greed. Wesker and Saddler both used Umbrella for the ultimate purpose of re-evolutionizing mankind with their interests in mind. So seeing that the entire company was in favor of ending the world was pretty refreshing. Though Fallout just did the same thing yet to a much more logical conclusion.

I'd be so happy if they do away Ethan Winters for good. The only characters who truly matter in Resident Evil are...Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, and Ada. They are "the Avengers" of Resident Evil.

I love resident evil too me growing up playing the originals it ending after re4. Re5 was fun and ok, but 6 was absolute trash, 7 and 8 I had no interest in and till this day still don't. But great video. I highly recommend to newbies the originals

Re4 through 6 might be convoluted but at least they were resident evil and not a castlevania wannabe clone. No one likes Ethan no one likes this castlevania story and we all want this cheesy, science horror to return.
