Well, that’s great when he gets older if he likes the game as much as you do, y’all can play multiplayer. That’s where the best memories happen. And the shenanigans start. I mean you can play multiplayer with him now, but he’s younger, so there might be some things that might take him a while to learn. Or maybe not, everyone’s different.

Isn't video games too complicated for 4 year olds? My 4 year old nephew knows letters and can count to 30 and he's considered smart for his age. But basic board games are too much for him and I'd have no faith in him playing Minecraft.

@@edmis90 my son is almost 5 he liked Minecraft as in walking around and seeing things and running from zombies etc he didn’t really get the building, however he’s amazing at games like astros the ps5 game and also crazy good at WWE battlegrounds etc pretty crazy how good he is

Take this with a grain of salt since I’ve been playing games since I was a kid but I think Minecraft is a great game to get started on. The controls aren’t too complex, you can go as deep or as shallow into the various mechanics as you like and be as creative as you want. You set your own goals until you want to go find the more late game activities. Let us know how your journey goes!

Im 39 and got Minecraft for the switch for my kids this christmas. My advice, start a survival game on Peaceful so you get the experience of mining and building without worrying about dying. Creative is too overwhelming since I don't know what all the items do yet.

We Stan this man for giving a guide to Minecraft that’s completely non condescending. Feels like you’re not allowed to be a beginner in a lot of classic games like this a lot of the time and honestly, screwing up is half the fun in a survival game

I’m up there in age and I love Minecraft! I used to tell my son how boring I thought it was when he started playing Minecraft! Lol boy was I wrong. I play this now with my young adult kids! I started playing video games when I was about 4 or 5 Atari, Coleco vision, Nintendo all of it! Helped my son build both his gaming Pc’s we’re hardcore gamers in my house, I raised gamers lol I am proud of my hardworking young adult kids who have jobs in day and game at night lol! Seriously though Minecraft is truly a great game. I’m currently building a lighthouse that works. Ty for the videos you post, I’m a new fan:)

Use planks instead of wood blocks as fuel for charcoal. A lot more efficient.

It's been about 5 years since I've played minecraft and I've apparently purged all knowledge except using space to swim up. I can't explain how much I appreciate this video considering the only reason I remember space to swim up is because someone asked if I was r****ded when I mentioned I'd drowned because I didn't know how to swim in this goddamn game 😅

Actually this is the best tutorial i found on youtube, i've been through dozens and this one is really beginner friendly and easy to follow !

Welcome back! A new update drops Thursday. Our more recent content covers it and it's features more if you want to stay up to date on stuff.

You actually only need 10 obsidian for the portal. It only needs to be 2 blocks wide and 3 tall. Also, the first thing to do once in the nether is to link the nether-side portal to the one in the overworld. If you don't, the same netherside portal might generate a different overworld-side portal when you go back through. Just break the netherside portal and rebuild it at the coordinates you get by dividing the overworld coordinates X and Z by 8.

Great i played it during alpha and like the first beta. Hopefully too much hasnt changed! Nevermind. I can't play since Microsoft stole the game from me. I didn't even think to play this game until recently so I didn't do the account migration. Looks like I won't be playing.

I have play Minecraft for a long time but mostly are just creative and incomplete survival but that are the first edition released on iOS and Minecraft bedrock. I stopped playing Minecraft for 7 years, yes I still have, but I just watched through your explanation on how to download and install those kind of forge, fabric etc. thank you for explaining all information clearly. And also atlas thank you for showing this another one, I’m completely clueless but as the first time Java player, with your guidance this will be going amazingly again. Aaaa sadly playing by myself going to scare the heck out of me with that cave ambience.

Thanks for the video. I played Minecraft very little with friends when I was younger. I always played creative mode though and decided to give survival a shot. i was playing MCPE on my phones for more than 10 y now, altogether more than 1000 hours.. now i tried the PC version and i felt like a Newbie (that's why i came here).. but i already understand that it made no sense for me: as playing on my phone, often on the floor in a dark room - that is _BEING IN MINECRAFT_ - while controlling it on PC only felt like _PLAYING A GAME_ called Minecraft..

11:40 Such a waste. No need to toss away your wooden tools into the ocean. Instead you can use it as fuel once you have a furnace and possibly save a precious piece of coal or two, by burning the tools instead.
