kzread.info/dash/bejne/aa1_r5iLdduynKw.html This link will show you the Tusken mission with Bane, and my reasoning behind why to include the unfinished episodes in canon. To me they are in a grey area and were too cool not to mention. A lot of these unfinished stories were kept basically the same or at least not contradicted. Also the link if to the timestamp when Filoni is talking about Bane and Boba's relationship.

For everybody to watch and enjoy. And those movies are of insanely good quality! The story, the depth of the story. For Force's sake (haha), you even include the audio books! For me cad is easily in my top 5 favorite characters of all time. Cad is Normally appearing to be cold and ruthless and nothing more, but there times that things about him that stand out. Every now and then you see these little qualities about him peek out like when he tipped his hat to embo to show respect. “Hardeen” was originally hated by the hunter, but when he saved cad’s life you see him tip his hat off to him and from that point on, cad showed a great amount of respect to him, even going out of his way to make sure he didn’t go out like a chump. Not to mention the fact that he never backs out of his word and isn’t violent unless he needs to be, even initially trying to avoid trouble with kenobi and vos, even though he knew perfectly well he could take them. To me, this stuff really just kind of stands out.

I like how Bane very rarely used his blasters to purposefully kill a Jedi. He mostly uses his blasters for defense and for keeping his distance from Jedi. He knows the problem of morons just going gun first without readying another weapon. When he closes the distance he usually uses his taser gloves on the Jedi. Or he'll use his rip chord and grab them by the ankle or wrist. The wrist is especially bad to grapel for an armed Jedi

For me it’s because they introduce an incredible live action adaption of a character seen only in animation the episode prior and kill him off so soon in the next one. Out of all the threats faced in the book of fett he felt like the only one that was real and he died so quickly. He has also faced for more powerful opponents than boba as well so for him to just walk up to boba and die felt really anti climactic to what would have happened in the universe. Cade bane should have been way to smart to just let that happen, boba having his melee weapon right there to grab seems like %100 the thing he would’ve noticed. It’s just weird how he died not the fact that he died. Them killing him off in live adaptation so quickly is the most disappointing thing about the show behind not giving enough good reasons behind boba recharacterization.

Always loved this character. The lone gunslinger of the old cowboy movie's from another world. Star Wars characters and stories have always held special to my heart and mind taking me to other places in the galaxy as well as in my mind. At 50yrs old I still watch all contents of this world far away with a child like amazement. :)

Watching this video again really made me appreciate the Book of Boba Fett more. Boba Fett's characterization makes a lot of sense if you know all this back story. I hope we see more Boba in live action in the future. Temuera Morrison and the Slave 1 are some of the best star wars that Disney has put out.

I just had a revelation rewatching this. Instead of finding a master for the holocron, do you think Dooku could have opened it? I know plot armor is stong in alot of arcs but i think he could've. Especially since he never fully gave himself to the dark. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all the awesome content. The force is strong in you

After the (rather unfortunate) Book of Boba Fett, I think we can say that Cad Bane's been solidified as being in the top two best canon Star Wars bounty hunters ... _above_ Boba Fett. "But Fett beat him!" you say. Fett "beat" a geriatric Bane who was probably within a year or two of dying of old age anyway, and even so, he only did because Bane picked up the Villain Ball and wasted time monologuing so the plot could save Fett. In terms of skill, speed and agility, Fett was completely outclassed ... _still,_ even though Bane was so old he already had one foot in the grave, and even though Fett was wearing Mandalorian armor. Nah, that settles it. No question: Cad Bane >>> Boba Fett. Fett might've had the bigger reputation, but reputation doesn't always align with actual ability. The only question left is whether Jango Fett was as good as Bane. Honestly, I'm not convinced he was, though I think it's probably safe to say he was better than his son. Just going by feats, anyway, I have it as Cad Bane > Jango Fett > Boba Fett.

In terms of things that we the audience are shown, 100% agree. After all, even though we are told boba fett is the best of the best, we always see him beneath cane, except for two scenes: the one where he kills an older bane, and a deleted scene where bane gets his plate and boba gets his dent, showing that they were equals, yet one was better equipped (we can ignore this to an extent however, given how it was deleted). We don't really see much of boba's solo exploits in Disney canon, so it is possible to say that he could have been a better bounty hunter than bane, but we just aren't shown enough, sadly, which is ironic given how he's just been given a series on Disney+
