It would be impossible to go back to the "good ol days" of Pan Am, where first class waiters would greet each passenger with a full banquet of unlimited caviar and pate. The corporate greed today would not allow it. You are paying 15K today for a coach-level flight of America 1970s.

I've flown Emirates first class. Having two mid air showers in the lovely spacious restroom with all the brand perfumes and creams to pamper yourself is wonderful, and that's just the start 💃.

This called me poor in 30 different languages

I remember how my grand-dad had described to me his first flight on an airplane, and he was one of those who actually got that chance to fly and he described it as exhilarating. People don't realise how much we take or granted nowadays, like a taxi service, or perhaps your mobile phones etc. They focus on the little things that go wrong like how they're late for their train, missing a client meeting and I get that, but just remember that you're one of the few that is witnessing the space age.

i like the crew onboard the emirates. i flew alot with emirates and the cabin crew are very professional in there job. i remember one day i asked them few questions about the cabin and the airpressure and they brought me alot of documents that explain it all. and they were happy to answer my questions.

meanwhile one floor lower (in the economy class) a fed up lady serves with a pot: "coffee or tea?" - "tea." "wrong, it is coffee."

I flew two times on economy class, and the crew was really great and friendly, of course they are very busy to serve that many people on economy class, but even when people had problems with the tv, they tried to figure out something for example offering other seat, if there was available. Also once they ran out of my chosen meal, I got the other one and they apologized and offered me more drinks and sweets if I need. So I don't really understand the ones, who complain about the Emirates cabin crew, I think they are great and they do their best even on economy class.

People pay thousands for a first class ticket like that and they dont believe getting a complimentry 20$ pair of slippers !

In 5 hours flight he had refreshments, eaten, slept, went to bar, showered and then had tea and breakfast...too much of work...😉😄
