ambient occlusion and shader gives the biggest advantage in-game, lets you see people around a corner...msaa and texture filtering also increase your input delay

If you have 16 threads in your cpu the command in your cfg should be 1 higher (meaning 17 for you).Im certain if you go in game and type sys_info in the console it will display that you are using 15 threads.

It's not a good idea to force the game to use all the cpu, i know it uses -1 but there is a reason for that. Do not put +1 thread in the command

I'm not totally sure, but I believe quite a few of those commands in your auto exec have to be put in launch options to actually work, I could be wrong.

I dont think it matters if the commands are in either autoexec or launchoptions, some pros have all their commands im autoexec.

@@prinnyD open game - and check your console when you open game... at least for me all the comands you have written in autoexec with - infront shows up in console as an unknown comand. ;)

you actually dont need anything in your launch options for cs2.

in "threads" u should put +1 example: 32 threads cpu = -threads 33 24 threads cpu = -threads 25 16 threads cpu = -threads 17 12 threads cpu = -threads 13 8 threads cpu = -threads 9 6 threads cpu = -threads 7 4 threads cpu = -threads 5 explanation: for some reason, cs2 just uses -1 thread in ur game. so if u put the command "sys_info", u can check that its using -1, then u can compensate that by adding +1. i use an 6 core 12 threads cpu, so i disabled multithreading in bios and put -threads 7. my avg fps increased from 350 to 420 easily by doing that. edit: my 1% lows went from 100 to 180, so it helps with stuttering a bit too :)

I downloaded your autoexec, and have the +exec autoexec.cfg but the binds are half assed, when i use the jump throw bind I just jump, same with the other binds and the "throw last grenade" bind doesn't do anything when I press it.

You have to pull the pin of the nades then press the bind. In order to use rethrow nade u need to be on a practice server

Default is fps max 400 in CS2. What should i use though? I have 7800x3d cpu with 4070 super and my fps is around 350-600

You can go either fps_max 0 for full on fps or fps_max 350 for a more consistent experience

hi im wondering how to know if my game is running in directx 9? since i tried the others and it said "Unknown Command" thanks! and i was wondering if i can put it to the launch options

Unfortunately Valve has stopped supporting dx9

My PC is not that bad and it should run over 200fps but i have around 50-60fps in the game. I tried fps_max 0 but i did not work. My game also crashes when i play on ancient. Can you help me? PC experts said there is no issues in ur PC.

Without more information my advice would be a factory reset of ur OS and making sure that u have installed newest drivers for your hardware

Fps boost 200 fps and clear. Playing with bots, like everytime "slow server time" and then stuttering.. and when someone throws smoke, game instantly crashes.
