The team, the team, the team! When you only have an idea it is the entrepreneur that will execute and then turn the vision into a reality. When I invest in a startup, the team is disproportionately more important than anything else! Dream big, and make it happen! 🚀

2 extremely strong opening points on entrepreneurship and leadership. If you don't know the answer to a question, acknowledge the lack, and have the candor in saying the truth... that you don't know. Will you do what you say you will do. Thanks Gary.

If you’re obsessed with feedback, not knowing the answer to a question isn’t an issue, it becomes an opportunity.

Here's my logic... It is cool to say that "I am the owner of something" but I'd look lame as f*ck if I am the owner of some garbage though. And for me to make sure my company is not garbage, I get to put in the work, able to get through difficult situations. And I am not going to ask for investors until I need them. Feel like people who are in for the money is different than people who are in it to serve people. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Plants free of water deficit events more efficiently absorb available plant nutrients enabling plants to achieve their maximum genetic potential. SWRT membranes installed below plant rootsystems retain water where it falls, providing continuous delivery of drought-free periods up to 3 times longer than intensely irrigated control sands without root zone water retention membranes (Guber et al, 2016).

I know someone who worked for Gary and it sounded awful. Granted he's very successful, design and work/life balance is not a priority

People are manipulative and will deceive you for their own benefit. I'd rather invest in myself and rely on myself. Other people are just extras.
