Would love to see what Chanel goodies you bought! I started wearing Chanel 5 original in my early 20s, but I would agree that it's more of a scent for a mature, sophisticated lady. I also loved classic scents like Youth Dew from a young age, but I know a lot of younger women who are accustomed to more modern fruity florals or gourmand vanillas would probably think of them as "old lady" perfumes haha. Great video style! I always pull out my 📝 when I see a new Charlene video up 😉

Hello, nice to see this, I can't wait to get some Chanel perfumes! I'm waiting to try L'eau anxiously. I have smelled Coco Mademoiselle and love it. I just discovered an old black bottle of Chanel no 5 in my mother's collection, from the 90's. It's a vintage black bottle and the smell is still there. I wish someone would gift me Chanel ...lol! Can't wait try the bath & body products as well!💕🌸

Chanel has easily become one of my favorite brands! And my fav. perfume so far is eau tendre by chanel. The n. 5 was my grandpas signature perfume, he always wore that perfume. Now I've grown to like it myself 🙂

Actually the No 5 EdP isn't the original at all. :) The pure parfum from 1921 is the original scent. The EdP is a "modern version" from 1986, made by another nose. They are very different. You should try the original pure parfum, it's amazing. :)

I have Chanel N5 Parfum, L’eau, Eau Premiere, and the Eau de Toilette. My Eau de Parfum arrives in 2 weeks and my collection would be complete. I love the art and poetry behind this scent. 🙂🏆✨💕 P.S. I subscribed. ✨

I did try the premiere and hated it. It gave me a headache. I sampled L’eau and that seems to be so much better on my skin. Softer and elegant and I’m 52. I agree L’eau is a safer blind buy than the other two. My fave signature scent I own is Coco Chanel and Chanel Chance original. L’eau is great for daytime casual t shirt and jeans and blazer. Office friendly and church friendly. I love citrus scents. Now I know why I didn’t like the premiere. Your comparison of all 3 really helped.

@@charleneford Thank you lovely. I try to incorporate fashion styles with the fragrance personality to match up. Like if I’m wearing a beautiful black dress, I’ll wear Coco Chanel for evening wear or on a cold day sweater day. And the lighter ones casually day time in cute wedge shoes, sandals in jeans and t- shirt or tank top with cute summer bag and a hat. Some fragrances have personalities of their own to reflect the fashion sense if that makes sense.

Yes Chanel do very classy scents I also have alot of Chanel fragrances the original no 5 & the eau premiere I have to say I prefer Shalimar to no 5 I always say 50 mil not ml I believe Americans say fluid ounces

...Promise, last comment.. have you tried the orange Blossom perfume by Penhaligons? It's soft, yet strong and fresh. Atleast the dry down is really fresh smelling almost like white Linen.. bybEstee Lauder is it? ..anyway would love your thoughts on it .💕🌸

I just got my L'eau body mist. The scent and dry down is beautiful! You were spot on! The only bummer is it doesn't last at all, it's a lovely light and soft scent in the mist. So layering will be needed for this! 💕

We absolutely only say “ounces” and only write “oz.”. Not fluid ounces. I say “mils,” but wrote “mL.”

Eau de Parfum was not the original, it came out in the 80s and has more powdery take on the original “Parfum” from 1921. The true original is the extrait which is still sold even today as “Parfum” in 35ml bottles.
