Anyone can perform any song live. You just can’t release it for sale without permission from the writer. Just search KZread for any song you know, and there will be multiple covers. Go to any pub at night and there will be bands playing covers, not to mention all those ‘tribute’ shows/artists.

Yeah, it suits his voice well and it is a good that this version is their own and differenr from the original. No point in making an exact duplicate of ABBA’s version.
