You might hate this video but it's so amazing to see this online it makes people feel less alone makes them feel more "normal". You are so amazing for sharing your struggles. Thank you because of you I got up and cleaned for 5 minutes even that made such a difference to my home and tomorrow I will appreciate that. I also had to take a nap today and nearly everyday because it helps me process what's happening inside my head and when I get up I can try to be a little nicer to myself.

This comment section makes me feel so validated honestly, it's reassuring to know that it's ok to have these phases sometimes. The last week I haven't gone outside at all except for the occasional (2?) walks (because I also want to enjoy fall while it lasts) and I just got the news that my step-dad who I live with has covid so I'm taking it as a sign from the universe that it's ok to be antisocial for another week!

girlie your hair looks beautiful dark - I'm into it :) I'm you (anxiety, depression) plus ADHD, so I know what it feels to go through it - just a gentle reminder that if it's really bad you actually don't have to wait it out or do it alone. There's heaps of stuff you can try - therapy, CBT, meds, that will make it a whole lot easier, trust me

I relate to this video on such a personal level as I'm sure a lot of people will, I think you've done amazing considering and I think it's very important to be aware of not just the triumphs but also those harder feelings that you discussed. I noticed at least with myself that a lot of mental discord comes from the gap between emotions and rationality, like we know rationally that it's okay to be like this because that is what mental illness is but then that is completely separated in that we also emotionally feel helpless and lazy, despite the rationality of this not being the case. I guess it's important to accept that discord whilst actively trying to minimise it. You are doing amazing and what is the 'bare minimum' is actually a lot in the scheme of mental health. Sorry for the ramble, thank you for this video, helped motivate me to tidy! I hope you're only on the up!

It’s so nice to see someone document the realities of depression on this platform, being in a depressive episode myself once again I feel you so much. Especially that you literally do nothing but sit on your couch, watch tv shows you’ve already seen to keep your mind engaged, doing something creative or simple things, that is pretty much exactly how the past weeks have looked like for me. And I’m still exhausted at the end of the day, even though that’s all I can do during my episodes: wait until it gets better, and try not to let it get worse than it already is. I have been able to leave the house again for the first time in a while yesterday, which was a big accomplishment. I hope you’ll feel better as soon as possible! 🫶🏻

There's definitely been something in the air for the past month as many people I know, and who also happen to have mental health issues, have been having it pretty hard recently.
