The Cobrasnake’s Life in Parties | W Magazine
Ойын-сауық
In the early aughts, Mark Hunter created an entirely new genre of party photography as The Cobrasnake. Hunter, who grew up in Hollywood, would frequent haunts all over Los Angeles and New York documenting behind-the-scenes and candid imagery of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Kanye West, Jeremy Scott, and many more celeb fixtures in their early days of stardom. In his Life in Parties interview, the photographer reminisces on shooting a very young Taylor Swift at the club with Sky Ferreira, partying with Katy Perry to capture her album art, and why his picture with Karl Lagerfeld is a particular favorite.

“The Instagram before Instagram” love this ❤️
This brought back so many memories! Definitely a more carefree time
I was in the Cobrasnake a couple times. Was also in Shadowscene. There was also Rony's Photobooth and some girl named the Squid or something. Never found her website but I heard I was in it a bunch. The world is a very different place now.
Mark is my hero. Thanks for supporting The Geometro Party and being the most humble and fun human being on the planet. Much love homie 👊🏾📸
What a wonderful flashback to such a fun time. I would see him at bars and parties around town and made it a goal to get on the website. Mission accomplished. That one pic made my entire year. Thanks dude.
This was so good! Cool memories! Great content!

I know I'm late to this comment but I disagree. As social media and technology evolved, people getting their own cameras, dictating what they wanted to share to the world and how they present themselves, social media creators/"influencers" brought that upon themselves. Mark kept people humble. I'm assuming most people he photographs didn't ask to get their pics taken, it just happened. No one was uptight about it.
This music is jarring
