Idk that extra weight may be a plus. Some people have complained that the magic keyboard isn't very stable. If the extra weight is in the keyboard portion and not the part that holds the iPad, it may help with the stability problem

can it fold back on itself like the apple magic keyboard to take notes with the apple pencil? ordered one for school since my laptop is on its last leg of life and my semester ends in a couple weeks

That full short cut row is a huge plus. Not sure why Apple could not include it in their Magic Keyboard...

Of course they can, they just don’t want to. Specifically, they don’t want you to have physical shortcuts, and instead get used to swiping down on the notification shader. Because future updates on the virtual shader is cheaper and more agile than making a new keyboard. (Not my words, paraphrasing Steve Jobs iPhone 1 announcement). This is the same reason why the Magic mouse will never have a charging port that can be plugged in during use - they never want anyone to see (even in their minds eye) an image of an apple mouse tethered to a cord.

No latency. Same typing experience as the magic keyboard. Samsung can't work properly with magnetic cases. The s-pen doesn't work correctly.

@@TechTalk885 not true. Tab s8 anv even tab s7 uses magnets for original cases(stand if fixed only by magnets). Only tab s6 had vacuum based solution

I never understood what's the point of a keyboard on a touch surface.

A touch keyboard takes up a lot of space on a display and glass gives a horrible non-tactile typing experience.

The one killer for me is no charging passive charging. when i am using other usb devices i need that but still a nice alternative

Another content creator who doesn’t care to add kg conversations. You don’t have to primarily use it but at least be inclusive please. Good video but that’s just my pet peeve. My personal opinion aside, imagine all the videos you watched was in metric units and you had to convert everything versus the creator cared enough to provide the conversation so you didn’t have to do that. Edit: I just saw how small your channel is, I apologise for being so hostile. Please do consider what the intention of a badly worded comment was though.
