I LOVE WHITE LIES AND I ADORE TOKYO. Their song “Bigger Than Us” blew my mind in 2010. I also adore their album “Big TV.” That whole album is so good, especially the track “First Time Caller.” Okay rant over😂

As for Perligo, I've had few of their videos recommended to me that I may check out once I get some of my theory vids out (as I don't want to get influenced by other factors just yet) but I am planning on giving that channel a watch! Navigating is very NEW WAVE heavy sounding like bands from the 80’s and newer bands that share that spirit (ie White Lies, whom I have seen live btw, and the band Dreamcar). So I agree with you there. My only gripe is Lavish which is one of my favorite songs on the record. The different vibe and the great video for this song is the main selling point of it for me. Topping everything off Oldies Station is my Number 1, however, as this 50 something (who still feels like a 20 something) relates with the message of the song the most! Great work, and appreciate your content and viewpoints. Love the first face to face with the mystery still intact!

I really like the MV and lyrics for Lavish because it's overall really fun and a much needed palate cleanser on an emotionally heavy album. It's just the sound that throws me off completely. Oldies station is really good and one that has climbed up in ranking from my first initial reaction (it was around a 6/10 for me but that ending part sounds so so much like it comes from self titled and I love it). Apparently it's Tyler's favourite and I can see why! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video :D

I love that TOP has many genres in their music so that we can each enjoy the songs in our own way, or as the lyrics are relevant in our lives (which can change over time). I sort of felt the opposite about some of your ratings of the songs for my personal taste, but others I totally agree with others, and I know it's because I'm quite a bit older than you and have had different musical and cultural influences over the years. I do hope we can get more reggae-based song in upcoming albums, but definitely understand that they may not fit with the rest of the songs on these two recent albums (although they did pull it off nicely with Cut My Lip, so it's doable). Not a bad song on the album, and there will be no skip-tracks for me! But 7/10 for me because I'm only IN LOVE with 2-3 tracks but don't dislike any...as you said, how we feel about albums can absolutely change over time.

Even though I think the album dips during Snap back and Oldies station I’m just not a skipper when it comes to TOP albums. I always listen beginning to end. Only song I’ve ever skipped is The Pantaloon because that word really bugs me.I am so happy with Clancy.

Dema i just want to let you know my theory, that everything is wrong. Of course alot of mention of time throughout the pilots many albums, but what if its all the wrong timing..? It could possibly be that they jumbled it all up, as overcompensTe leads to navigating which leads to next semester/levitate, would like to see your thoughts on this.

As far as we are aware, next semester is not a lore related song given the lack of lore related lyrics and a non-lore related MV. Furthermore, as for timing, the pilots have already confirmed the timeline for the story in the I am Clancy video as well as the 'story so far' playlist they made at the beginning of the era. Levitate does follow directly from Nico and the Niners as both videos quite directly reference each other

Hey dema, I have been cooking up a theory that could change it all. It also can correlate with your heavy dirty soul theory. Here it is: Clancy is KEONS and KEONS is Clancy, just in a cycle. The SAI title being an ambigram for Clancy is “not alive”, this could correlate to KEONS being “not alive” during that era. This would also make sense why KEONS is one of the nicer bishops. This is not part of the main theory but If at the end of the storyline Clancy ends up appointing new bishops, Josh could be Nico’s counterpart because it seems like Nico is everywhere at once and that he “Guides” people back to dema. Also, to go along with your heavy dirty soul idea, KEONS could be the one in the car that lets Clancy free… or he could be seizing the person driving the car because it kinda blows up… essentially restarting the cycle and starting the journey again. Also, we don’t have a confirmed name for Tyler’s character because “Clancy” could be a pseudonym so either KEONS could be Clancys real name (Unlikely) or the bishops names could be pseudonyms themselves. Anyways… I’m done yapping. Please tell me what you think and I loved seeing your face in this vid :)

I really really like the idea that Clancy becomes Keons and Josh a counterpart for Nico because it could potentially present some interesting messages and dynamics (for example, that we can become our own worst enemies. Whilst, narratively, it brings the morality of the bishops into question. Are they bad or are they just victims of the cycle trying to find a way to break it too?). There is only one slight flaw in your theory and it's the understanding of HDS as it has been confirmed in I Am Clancy that it is Nico driving the car. Apart from that, I really like the sound of this! It could potentially explain why the Nico button was on during the SAI livestream because josh, with the power of guidance, who is also a Nico counterpart, was present

I hope it's okay for me to comment, because this actually ended up being an interesting thing for me as someone who bought one in an indie record store in America (so a slightly different version, but still with a lyric book). Mine didn't have the "new CD smell," and I was sad. Such a lovely nostalgic smell that you encounter, often when you are listening to an album for the first time, and there was almost no scent at all! Dema, did yours have that "new CD smell"??
