THE CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER LEFT a NOTICE WHILE i was CUTTING this OVERGROWN LAWN

Ойын-сауық

I would like to thank you for supporting the channel and a lot of people said that they would like to help me with monetary compensation but I would ask that instead of helping me, if you could donate to help Kyra Mcdonald whos 3 year son (Aybel) is in need of a possible Liver transplant after his recent fight with hepatoblastoma Cancer. He has received chemo treatments which have gone well but his current prognosis is around 60% chance of survival. If you are unable to give through financial support it would mean the world if you could just copy and paste the gofundme link to your favorite social media platform. By doing this together we can help her to take care of her Child through this time of need. Aybel is a feisty young boy that I have had the pleasure to meet and I look forward to seeing him make it through this and grow to be a strong young man.
Thank you so much for your love, kindness and support.

“ Be a job, large or small Do it right Or not at all” The quote my friend’s dad hammered into us whenever he was helping us with auto work & maintenance or with school or work. This passion you have for community service is amazing.. especially in this video at the end when you said “shoot, have to give the front another pass”…. because it wasn’t perfect. Even though in all these free services it does not have to be perfect, because “good enough” will do. No doubt, that mindset came straight from your dad. Never change, Hero!

Sorry in advance if this is old news or if I'm missing something. Could be wifey for all I know lol but... If you go to 20mins into the video you'll soon see a red truck go past you and pull up just around the corner. The driver gets out and goes over to your truck. Looks like they had something white in their hand like a plastic shopping bag. A bit after, how long I don't know but you've had time to reposition the gopro, while you are tending the front of the yard, the same truck has turned around and turns left at the intersection behind you. I guess the game plan for someone that wants to do this, would be to start doing it alongside a "feeder" job or whatever you want to call it. Some sort of job that pays enough to do this on the side. Then, as you are able to find ways to pay for more lawn work and the like, you can possibly change the ratio of time put into them. Easier said than done I guess, but when you want to do a thing because it is a passion of yours, then trying to find ways to build up some way to turn it into a living can be very rewarding. It will almost always be a long term commitment and battle, with some luck, but if more people can manage to do jobs that they actually enjoy (barring the, hopefully, obvious things), then I do think that the world would be a better place overall. I'm still trying to find what I enjoy enough to really consider trying to put in that much effort for.

He is an epic asshole. He claimed yesterday this costs him 2 grand. City would have charged 400-500 on the taxes to clean it up. He can't even do basic math, if he was smart he would just pay the guys fine and clean up bill and have 1k in his pocket.

Why is this called the boring channel? By no means is it boring! I find it very educational. It teaches people how they should keep their yards up, what tools to use and you must have motivation and self pride in your home and neighbourhood. You don’t have to do it all in one day. If it’s too much for your health, go slow. Bit by bit works. Also you show to how to pick up your own garbage, and trim your trees and shrubs , one by one. Then it’s not so hard and you will get it done. Boring…..never. Keep up the good work, Kevin.

I simply enjoy making a visual difference. When I was building multi million dollar homes I had subcontracts for everything except plumbing, (which I do with skill), HVAC, and carpet. I loved getting the ICF foundations done. Then you frame a large floor area. Then you throw up the walls. Insulation looks good in the bays and I can install 2 floors of bats from the lower floor where multi story window walls and cathedral ceilings are. Every step provides satisfying visual progress and proves I accomplished good things. I had a rep for A) fixing the impossible, and B) being pretty anal and excellent at finish work. You like the trim, but without the rough stuff done well, it's not at all appreciated. Like lipstick on a pig.

My Dad, for decades, until he was too old to drive, would head out with his lawnmower on the weekends. He would say, "I'm going to cut the grass for the old ladies at the church." Sometimes, the "old ladies" were his age or younger as he got older. He just loved helping and riding his lawnmower. I'm not sure if it hurt him more when we took the keys to his truck or his lawnmower. But, it eventually became necessary to protect him.

There is a thing that happens when one takes a crap looking lawn and makes it look showroom fresh. It's hard to describe, but it just feels good and right when one does a good job and it looks great at the end. You are doing something important, both for the neighborhood, but for the city and home owner by doing these "charity cuts." I've been watching you and several others doing the same sort of thing and, remembering how good it made me feel when I was able to take care of my own yard, I can only imagine how good you must feel when you've finished a difficult job and it looks good. I couldn’t help thinking, when the code enforcement agent showed up, of Snydlee Whiplash saying “CURSES! Foiled again!”😁 Keep fighting the good fight. You’re a good man performing a noble work.

People who think charity just enables those who need it to keep being dependent on it. The "these people should just get off their lazy asses, it shouldn't be up to this guy to clean up their mess" types. Those that are angry that someone could go so long without mowing their lawn. I guess?

You are one of the people that make me think, " if only the whole human race could do one kind and selfless deed for another when they can, what a great world we would have. Like you do all the time and it's not a small job I can see. You are a very special man. Good upbringing I'm sure. God Bless you for what you do. You help so many.
