Sweet handsome Toulouse lived a life of warm fireplaces, comfy beds, full tummies, fresh air, and loving family. He knew that he was loved, and safe, and home. That was the very best gift you could have given him. Toulouse knew how much you love him. :)

Nature is a completely beautiful place that people need to see, many people should realize that we need to preserve its beauty before it's too late.

Anyone that ever loved their pet, knows too well the emotions that are provoked when the last car ride to the veterinarian has to take place. Our pets were never two-faced, they never lied to us, they only wanted to be near us and to share their lives with us. The feelings of guilt and sadness are natural, we feel we should have done more, to act more quickly, to ease their suffering sooner- all of these we debate within our own minds. We wish that we could have been perfect in that moment, but realize in the end, we are human and pray that our pets also realize that we did the best we could under very difficult circumstances. I am completely taken by the beauty and awe of the Northwoods, I think that the Vikings must have had so many thoughts running inside their heads as they saw their beloved wives, children and homesteads fade into the distance as they made their way out to the open sea and far beyond! Jonna, your video canvas is a portrait of perfection and majesty!

Johan is a man of my own inclination, not a person desiring to be in front of the camera, but agreeable when unavoidable. He comes across as one of the most humble, yet also quietly self confident men I've "met". Also, your vlogs are like listening to a friend rather than say a typical tv host or scripted video. Compare the eye movement of those genre and notice they are always focused directly at the camera. However, when you are speaking your eyes move like they would when you are talking with someone in person. Peace always.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's been 2 since we put one of our 2 down. It's so hard. I still have her ashes...can't put them out as we had planned. I rescued a kitten a few months ago and her brother is old but strong yet I still miss our special 3 legged rescue ginger girl. Each are special in their personalities but I felt she was extra special. She really bonded with my partner who hated cats til her. Sorry..rambling. I love remember ing her.

Sad to say but it is almost gone and it just keeps being destroyed by the young and immigrants that have no respect to those who built what we have.. When respect for your elders are gone your society is not fare from destruction.. "If I can inspire at least one person to feel a little better, that would make me so happy." Your vlog just did. I loved the nature scenes at the beginning, and watching the reindeer run. I live in Toronto, Canada, and they have just closed down parks because people were not observing the social isolation protocols. It feels like nature has been taken away from me since I live in an apartment in a busy part of downtown. But this gave me a feeling of being outdoors, and I thank you so much for that. You gave me nature back. Your vlogs and videos always bring me so much joy and peace, and it is especially vital in a time like this. I am so sorry to hear about Toulouse. It's similar where I live. It isn't cool, but yesterday night I saw about 20 "big" birds flying low, near the roof. It was amazing to see animals coming back to the city, now that there are few cars and people on the streets. It was magical with the sunset ! It makes me feel more human to see that, I feel grateful for being part of our wonderful planet.

Here where I live it is already in the 80’s the plants have been growing and we have harvested the last of our winter vegetables. I am looking forward to fresh tomatoes next month. I am so sorry for your loss of Toulouse. He was such a regal gentleman. I am in rescue of dogs and I have never been ready to let one go. It hurts. And then another street dog comes and is thankful for a bowl of food and warm place to sleep. You are an Empath and the woods you probably hear the footsteps of those that have gone on before. I am not as sensitive as you are and the signs show that you are very deeply connected to Mother Earth. Listen with your inner soul and you may hear not only footsteps but the words from angels. I live in a Polish village and now I started to appriceate living here even more. I have my own garden and the forest that is only a couple of meters away. In those times it is truly a privleage to be living near the nature and i take it for granded. I know this comment comes late, but I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a piece of your soul, I lost my cat 13 years ago and I still miss him every day. You're not alone, and you will see him again 💗

Oh Jonna, I am so sorry for your loss and your hurt. It will feel better eventually. I lost my cat a few years back and I struggled with similar guilt. I wrote her a letter and went to a place I think her spirit would have laid. I read the letter aloud. It really helped give me closure. Also, they have a saying that animals cross the "rainbow bridge" when they pass, it may be helpful to look this up. Much love and comfort.

Someone who loves animals are full of love and kind-hearted. I found Jonna is very happy with dog and cats , so she is full of love too . And I am so sorry about your loss ,be strong 🙏🙏

Seeing these shots made me bawl my eyes out, I've never realised how the ability to be in nature affected me, but now that I'm trapped away from it I feel like I'm loosing my mind. But at least this video shows that there is beauty aside from the madness and that I have something to look forward to. Thank you for reminding me that there is still places so peaceful and unaffected by the madness.

I would do everything to live like this, I mean look at this, this is what I call living a good life. Nature gives a human so much strength... and also you are away from like all your problems and worries... an amazing place, really. Thanks for sharing this with us🙌🌎

Depending where you live in the world. You can hopefully find your own patch of nature not to far away. Find a small place to buy, usualy not to expensive way off grid. If you are young, make it a goal to get a place like this, a place to relax and renovate. I promise you it will be worth it, especially when you get "older". Good luck! 👍🏻

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I can't stop crying - losing a pet is one of the hardest things. Know that you gave him the absolute best life possible and he loved you as much as you loved him.

I'm commenting here as I finish up a big cry myself. It's so sad. This is a loss so many of us share, isn't it? I've had a recent one myself and it's just so heart breaking.

So the most horrific thing happened today after leaving this comment. My cat Bella was struck by a train and killed. I am beyond devastated and still in shock. 😭 trying time take my own advice but it feels so hollow right now.

I’m so sorry about your cat. I actually could not finish watching it, because my cat also died recently (in Autumn). But now I got two kittens who are happy and healthy, and knowing that my previous cat had good life with me helps a lot. Hope you feel better at your heart soon. 😘

Almost lost it when you showed Toulouse on the rock. That would be a lovely place for the ashes.

I wished my daughter could live your life, even if for a short while when she was alive. Cancer took her. Thanks for this video

I love how she is so energetic and joyful and weird but in a good way. Like the kind of weird that inspires you, ya know? That's what I really like about her.

I love the fact that she referred to her cat as someone or somebody. To often we only see them as objects.

Growing up I had two guineapigs and for me they were more like siblings and family and not like pets.They celebrated Christmas and birthdays with us. They lived ten years (which is very long for any rodent). Now as an adult I'm hesitating to get another animal as it's too hard to deal with when they pass away unfortunately.

Animals and birds can make very unusual sounds at night. Also, the trees can make noises too. Don't be concerned unless you have an animal that may hurt you do to their fear. I'd like to say that I am so sorry with the loss of your beloved cat. The pain of loss is very profound for me and I know it is for you too. 😥And yes, the remaining animals do look for them and they do grieve too.
