The Chromance - RGB Wall Art You Can Build (Cheaper and Bigger than Nanoleaf!)
Ғылым және технология
I want to stream every week, but my wall sucks! Let's put up 30 feet of RGB hexagons and make 'em display my stress levels. I'll call it Chromance, because it's not just pretty colors. It's my heart.

NanoLeaf wall triangles are history - we all know hexagons are the bestagons. This electronics and 3D printing project packs a punch, but is surprisingly easy to build!

Your scripts are ridiculously well written and delivered. Poetry and art and junk is my jam, and damn, your wordsmithery deserves much more praise. Also, glad to see you'll be streaming. More of that curly top bouncing around is good for KZread, that's why you're everyone's favorite channel, now. Also, at some point I'm gonna post my backlog of oil paintings as shorts, I'd love to gift you a piece if ever you see those future and hypothetical videos. That watch joke made my brow furrow but my belly laugh unfurrowed it. 11/10

off the charts man! great work!
Ok dude you finally developed cool lines, now I am 100% percent where I put my sub
Aluminum rails and diffusers for light strips are a goldmine for DIY RGB. I'm surprised more people haven't done something similar yet. Nanoleaf kits are like $200! But 50 feet of rail is maybe $20. I'm making a pair of light bars, and I _was_ just going to stick it on the wall. But now I need to make some risers so I can flip them around to face the wall, because that looks _so much better._
Everything about this is amazing.
I'm definitely building two of these. One for me and my daughter.
Gosh darn it I love your videos.
The soundtrack to this video is on point
Amazing as always. Thanks for sharing 😉
I can only dream of having as good alliteration skills as you
Damn dude you put out really well produced / well researched / cleverly scripted content at a very steady clip, which I love, but I hope you know where your burnout limits are and are able to dodge them. Actually, that could be a cool topic for a video (although maybe you've already done that one!)

Once again my neighbours must think I'm crazy when I laughed alone in my flat about the "eating a watch" bit :D great video :)
Eating a wristwatch is "time consuming" - yet another pearl of wisdom from Zach.
So like, 40 amps these could draw? Nuts! My biggest issue is how to power LED projects without insane power requirements.
Just noticed that one horizontal, one vertical dual screen setup. I abandoned it when most of my games wouldn't play nice but it was nice for Discord, KZread shorts, and occasionally reading code

All seriousness please keep up the great, amazing, excellent, stupendous work!!!!!
The way you talked on the start for some reason reminded me of the way the a.i./narrator in KND talked

Whoa, whoa, whoa there Manhatten. "Code is boring"? What does that mean? Code are the spells of the modern Alchemist, homeboy. Build what you want with your modern purified crystals, metallurgy, and magic bric-a-brac: it all means nothing without the correct incantations.

I touch on this in a few episodes, but putting code on screen causes a dip in retention. Many viewers just seem to click away when programming, or maybe just the code itself, comes up. I felt like for this episode, it was worth losing some retention.
5:25 is so true it hurts, but tbh I love to see it included

Hey your videos are so cool, don't worry if you space them a bit ^^
The eating watch joke got me, good one.
The alliteration in the beginning blew my brain circuits
Well that was fucking cool. Keep it up man you're an inspiration
This would be good for streaming games.
This was cool.
"Too hairy and Jewish..." I felt that. Also snorted at the "the consuming" line. Come for the geekery, stay for the jokes. This is a fun project that looks awesome! Thanks for sharing!
lmao, glad to know TheANTIFA makes people angry. Keep it up whoever you are.
Hexagons are the Bestagons!
alliteration astounds and abounds as awesome appreciates. DIY developer dorks. I don't know man.
Found the hidden names !!! 5:59 at the top of the code ! Quite obvious, very nice project and pls make sth rocket-like ; )
Finally a project I can build myself!
My boi droppin some based truths at 5:26
I want one of those boards... It would be awesome for diagnostic sleep tracking
Oh nice! This is really cool!
I want that desktop background too :o
"they weren't to solve problems..... they were to make cool stuff" lol, so true
lol'd at the OUYA, I backed that and have it in a box here at home still
This would be super rad for my classroom. I'm thinking of reducing it to 3 hexagons and omitting the biosensor and putting the animations on a loop. Anyone else planning on building this without the sensor?

I need that emotibit.
I'm thinking about things to put on the wall behind me, so I don't have the blank white wall of doom during meetings. This came up at just the right time. What distance do you plan on being from the wall while you record, so that it remains a cool background and doesn't become a constant distraction for your viewers?
