Well said and so correct.. our kids need encouragement & guidance-- there's so much more that we all could see ... and all these Christian movies are obviously pushing past barriers for the last 5-10 yrs... we want more as parents & especially with our kids too.... Agreed. Hadn't heard of Dallas previously but his interpretation of this time in history is perfection. Though he has taken artistic license at times it has been seemless and entirely plausable that some moments and people were a part of the story. The writers of the Gospels told a very specific story. Dallas's interpretation has made it very easy to imagine what took place. I believe he was tasked by Him to tell this story. I thank dallas for listening to the holy spirit.

I associate it with classics like Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Rings, Gone With The Wind, etc., as films that are classics, never be out done by a newer version, because none will be needed. The show is perfection.

Elija Alexander is Fantastic as Atticus! Having no historic background to draw on, his sense of humor had me rolling especially when he said “Quintus is gonna come right out of his sandals when he sees his new shanty town..” so many tongue in cheek remarks with perfect timing! My hero😂 This is the most perfectly artist scripted series I’ve Ever seen and I’m no piker. . 😁

As I stated, this show has in fact changed my life when I need it. It sure was fun talking with Elijah who plays Atticus and we all blushed and had a great laugh and I did give him my business card, so maybe? That is the MORMON Jesus you are drawn to---not the CHRISTIAN Jesus! Mormons believe that Jesus was married and a polygamist like their False Prophet Joseph Smith, who had 40 wives. I have watched the entire series and am impatiently waiting for season 4. This has rocked my Christian walk to no end. It truly is like walking closely with Jesus. I have many times tried to imagine what He was like on earth. And, I cannot wait to meet him in person. The series gives me something to draw on. Definitely up close and personal….Thank you to Dallas and all of the actors for their sacrifices and dedication. If you have not watched it, it is a must see. Choose Jesus! So many folks talk about the tears and emotions this series has elicited. I have personally have not experienced this. To me the story of Jesus is ridiculed by so many unbelievers or non-believers, this series has so helped me in telling his story myself. I feel vindicated somehow. Thus when I watch [can't count the number of times] it is with earnest andcserious attention storing away responses to the ridicule I can use. Sound silly? I was in Israel in May and the trip also helped with my little arsenal of facts to use in defending the reality and existance of the Trinity as a faith. As Jesus said to Nicodemus "God is spirit." Thanks Dallas.

I apologize for that, but I know it is hot where they film and I was wanting to find out what it was like to be in costume for their roles and as I said I was nervous and they bring the cast to us one or two at a time and we don't have time to look at our notes. I'll try to do better next time.

This interview was really creepy! The actors were so plastic and "Hollywood". There was nothing spiritual about ANY of them. The shallow woman who interviewed them was just as creepy. She credited Roomie for making her life better, not JESUS! When she said "I met Jesus through you"" to Jonathan Roomie, my blood ran cold. This interviewer does NOT know "Jesus", she only met an actor. This is who she serves---and the Hollywood hype for it [courtesy of the Mormon PR Machine] is disgusting. The writing is solid Mormonism, and makes the character of Jesus a mere man, weak and vacillating. They take away His deity. The Mormon connection is terrifying for those of us who know how dangerous Mormonism is--and they pay Dallas Jenkins' paychecks. How horrible that none of these self-centered actors appear to have testimonies of Christ at all. They are...just...actors who will be in the lake of fire after their deaths. Don't support this sick series which blasphemes Christ!

Wow, I have never been called creepy or shallow, but everyone has the opinion and you gave yours. Thank you for taking the time to watch the interviews and give your opinion. I do understand this is a show that has actors who play characters like Jesus and watching this show gave me a spiritual connection to a man who is catholic like me that portrays Jesus in such a way that brought me back to my faith and Jesus will always be in my life and I love him unconditionally. There is a thing called a joke and when I told Jonathan I met God in Morgan Freeman and Jesus in him, it was just that...a joke to break the ice for some comedy that got a laugh out of the both of us. I am also an Ex-Mormon so I recognized Mormonism immediztely in Jenkins,' shallow script. I also did my PhD in Film. How sad a film on the real teschings of Jesus wasn't made instead of this blasphemous garbsge. I implore you to seek out the Truth of my words. And do not count on the Catholic church., or the Mormon cult, to save you. Count on JESUS! Study the Bible for yourself. Also look up the website: "The Chosen: Do not be deceived".. I am sorry you feel this way, but during a two minute interview about their job, this was not the time to go into personal revelations about how God has or hasn't affected them. Jonathan himself has been very vocal about how he was blessed. If you don't 'like these films there are always the very slick, Hollywood productions, they may make you feel better, I hope something does dear, God bless you.
