I don't go to Church on a regular basis. I sin. I work in my Financial Career wayyyy too much. I cuss too much. I have horrible habits. I'm often consumed by money and success. I watch things that I shouldn't. I don't read the Bible. Then, I heard about "The Chosen". I can't quit watching it! Jesus Christ was a REAL human who laughed, cried, danced, performed REAL and tangible miracles, led and taught people, who treated sinners and those less worthy with kindness and compassion. Because of Christ, I'm on a mission to lead a MUCH better life (for a thousand reasons). This series is REALLY helping me on my journey!!! 🙏

Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! I don’t anyone to go to hell! God bless you! Read the Bible!❤️🔥🕊😃

Yo when Simon made up in his mind to "step out on faith" even his friends were telling him not to. That part spoke big time, because we have friends that see you making a decision to follow Christ, but will do the exact same thing to us. I've seen this happen to so many people. Once you make a decision and post it for the world to see, you'll definitely get people (even friends) calling you crazy. STEP OUT ON FAITH, HE'LL GIVE YOU REST!!!!!

@@kimberlywiederhold627 You are right, of course. The Chosen is not the Bible read aloud. Dallas has said this many times. Many parts of this scene are human-written fiction. Including the friends counselling against stepping out on faith as Daniel pointed out. To a still-troubled Simon, who doesn't yet have it all worked out, hasn't yet fully surrendered. That Jesus would and could bear him up, knowing that was not his problem. And yet, even stepping out on faith, Simon's faith was not quite where it needed to be. He had the power of Jesus down pat. But he still had a ways to go concerning Jesus' wisdom and love. And Simon still got distracted by the wind and the waves and began to sink. And in this stumbling, which paralleled Simon's disagreement with Jesus' decisions and priorities, and in Jesus' response, we see a great example and lesson about why God allows suffering in the lives of His people. To strengthen us. Because He loves us. Yes, not all the parts of this scene, its backstories, its subtext, its emotion -- not all of this is in the Bible. It is a fiction, based on the Bible. It is not inspired, as the Bible is. Doesn't make it any less inspiring....

Remember, this is a movie, and it’s overall good, with the actors, actress, doing what they do best, portraying specific roles. I like it. 👍😍… Inspired by what was written in the Holy Bible… The Holy Scriptures which was written for our instructions… originated, from those who were there to experience, witness, during those times… with the purpose of spreading the ‘WORD’, ‘ THE GOOD NEWS ‘… All about ‘God’ … His wonders and might. 🙏❤️🤩… Why ‘He ( Jesus, our Lord, God and saviour )’ came, showing us the way towards him, leaving a promise of eternity in His heavenly kingdom, in time, as He wills. For God loves us and wants us to be with Him. 🙏❤️ A promise, something to hold on to, to look forward to, to hope for. 🙏🙏🙏 In this lifetime, we need strength that God provides, to be able to resist temptations, which is all around us, strength to endure and overcome any trials in life that comes in front of us. *** Just look at what’s happening in some parts of the world right now. 😒 🌍. What’s great is that, there is always hope, for everyone has good in them, that just need to surface, resurface. 🕯️ 😊 Not easy, for we could stumble and fall any moment, given time. I'm sitting here watching with my husband who is in the last stages of his life and when it shows Jesus walking on water with the lightning flashing behind him I think that's how he will be coming for my husband. Of course I start squalling. It hurts tremendously but is also a comfort.

Balling my eyes out at the boat scene What a beautiful representation of what Christ is for is us. The saying “ you of little faith” WRECKS me

Just watched S1 E8. I cried and rejoiced this is awesome

This is what I want to say God is great and God is good God bless!

The compassion of Jesus comforting Simon really hit home for me. My wife and I lost our child in the same manner that Eden did. We were so grieved all day and night. I didn't know what to say to our 5yr daughter without crying. I didn't want her to feel the sorrow and pain we were going thru so we waited a few days before telling our daughter and attempted to explain what happened to her sister or brother. She wanted a sister to play with and to be bunked up together in her bedroom. It was very difficult because she was so excited about having a brother or sister and would talk about everyday. We decided not to know if it was going to be a boy or girl. before the birth, she clearly wanted a sister. The night it happened I asked God to please please don't let me go, I'm sorry, don't leave us, don't let me go. And he didn't. He blessed us the following year with a beautiful son. God revealed signs and messages for us. To let us know everything will be fine and that our daughter was with him. On the second night after it happened, my wife said she had a dream of an elderly women holding a baby in her arms and gently rocking the baby. She said the women told her in a language she did not know but understood what she was saying. The women told my wife that the baby is there in heaven and that she will be waiting for her mommy and daddy and sister. I was looking at some older pictures in a family album and my wife gasped and said "stop that's her" she identified my grandmother to be the women in her dream. My wife did not know my grandmother nor had she ever met her. She died 10yrs before we were married. Strange but true. Many other things happened as well during that week. Thank you Lord

I loved this episode. The scene of the cleansing of Eden, and at the same time, Jesus stills the storm and Simon walks on the water to Jesus, and how the interaction of Eden reaching down in the water to save Simon. Wow, awesome !

The whole story is breath taken. The Chosen has changed my life. I can sit and watch all the seasons forever. Thanks and thanks.

I praise the God who gives and takes away.

This series has touched and mirrored my faith way in so many ways. That cry of Peter "do not let me go" that cry I cried out in prayer when I was 13. I did leave the faith 10 years later. BUT he did bring me back 30 years after that prayer. I was allowed to meet Him. He said " fear not", just as he said to Mary in season 1. And I did not say but felt leave me I am sinfull. Just like Peter said. And He took that feeling away and filled me with love and awe. I am awed by this series totally blown away.

I have seen seasons 1-3 three times and every time I get more, I can hardly speak after each time, I am so renewed in spirit and moved by the goodness of God. God is worthy!

Simon holding onto Jesus at the end and begging not to be let go broke me, it had me in tears. After which Jesus rebukes the storm which always blew me away when reading it. The creator taking absolute control of his creation with two words - "Be Still!". Glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. P.s The words I scream in my heart every evening..."Please don't let me go!!!".

This was an amazing episode. This is third time seeing it. Cried every time, praising God for His mercy and grace!

I cried like a baby ! in some way, I feel like Simon less than and this episode made me realize how much Jesus sees in me, and that he never gave up on me and he’ll never leave me.

I agree with all the other comments I have read here. I sense The Chosen drawing me ever closer to Father, Son abd Holy Spirit. Thank you Dallas and all who are making the story of Jesus so much more real to the world. I pray God will use this show to keep drawing people to Himself.

This is the best show we have ever watched. We watch 1 or 2 episodes everyday. It makes us feel so much peaceful love. And thank you Isaiah for what you said about miracles still being done these days.

This Season was one of the best of all the miracles, feeding of the 5,000 was incredible, all of them were wonderful.Thank you Dallas.

The acting TOPS, this is great for reaching people in a modern way. I watched this in theaters. I cried also. I am 63 and am excited for what God is doing. Dallas Jenkins, the best.

I was not able to go see season four at the theater. But I just got done seeing the last episode of season three and I just cried my eyes out. It is the best movie I have ever seen and it has made my faith grow more thank you for what you all do, God bless.

The most powerful seen for me was Jesus walking on the water but to see the bottom of his shoes, that is amazing power of God this blew me away. Glory to God amen and amen ❤❤❤. I love you Jesus, you make us stronger.
