The Chordettes - Mr Sandman (Live 1958)
"(scat "bung, bung, bung, bung" 26 bungs in all)
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Give him two lips like roses and clover (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over.
Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream.
(scat "bung, bung, bung, bung".)
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen
Give him the word that I'm not a rover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over.
Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream.
(scat "bung, bung, bung, bung")
Mr. Sandman (male voice: "Yesss?") bring us a dream
Give him a pair of eyes with a "come-hither" gleam
Give him a lonely heart like Pagliacci
And lots of wavy hair like Liberace
Mr Sandman, someone to hold (someone to hold)
Would be so peachy before we're too old
So please turn on your magic beam
Mr Sandman, bring us, please, please, please
Mr Sandman, bring us a dream.
(scat "bung, bung, bung, bung".) "

@@therobloxgroup1262Hi! I was born in 1956 so that makes me 69. I bet you see that as a terribly old woman whose brain is not thinking now. I remember when my daughter was in college. She was born in 1987, so that would put her in college around 2003, because I remarried in 2005. When she was in college, she kept talking about Facebook online. I investigated and thought it was a great idea. But, she kept telling me it was only for her age to keep in touch. Like I believed that. At school at my grade level, I was in charge of computer matters. I can't remember if we were still using floppy discs. But, I was writing poems and sending them by E-mail to our newspaper. Please realize I am using KZread this very minute. But, I prefer Instagram so I can keep up with people in Scotland and in different places in the United States. As a person ages, it is very important to challenge your thinking process. I read books and on TV a channel called BritBox. There are so many detective shows and other quite interesting shows that are funny. I hope you have a wonderful week. Remember, it's not your age that matters, but how you use your brain.

My Taeholic back then there was no auto tune , nowadays most singers use auto tune, i’m not saying everyone uses auto tune now , sorry if it came out weird x
Please, don't let that song die.
My great grandfather recalls a spring afternoon in 1954 he was laying down having a nap and this song played on the radio as he woke up, he said he felt like he was back in France during WW2, he settled down in a convent where nuns sang to his platoon while they awaited orders to move into the Ardennes.. their voices he said, angelic and soothing..

+Justjustin11 No, but I had it playing in the background when I was exploring the glowing sea. :-) There's a whole collection of such oldies that are suited for background music while you hear the Geiger counter going off.. it's suitably depressing I think, so it helps get you into character. :-)

This song was always playing in the background of my childhood dreams...
Ohhhhh- how I remember this song! I was a little girl when I first heard it on the radio! Echoes of memories of years going by!
This is one thing that other people say that is "weird" about me.. I *love* 1960-1990 music, its actually my favorite kind of music. I always hear it and it makes me feel some type of way that other kind of music dosnt make me feel.. I admire these kind of songs and now I dont really feel left out or anything coz other people have the same taste as me.. Have a good day random buatiful person reading this :)

Nice to see some Halo fans out here 😂
its so weird to think about it that they became old, had families, and eventually died, one by one, all of them looking over everyone else and smiling from heaven singing together waiting to be all together again.. Death is just such a weird thing, we don’t expect it to happen and when it does its a shock or relief.
