The CHEVIOT!! Northumberland's highest summit!
Hiking to the highest point in Northumberland from one of the prettiest natural valleys, Cheviot in ancient Northumberland is a gruelling boggy climb and not for the faint hearted!
With hidden waterfalls, gullies and ancient trees, you are eventually rewarded with Eagle like views, heading across vast natural peat bog reserves on the summit. Use us as a guide with hints, tips and observations if considering.

I was up there 15th to 22nd May. Start of the week weather was lovely. Started raining Wednesday night and didn't stop, torrential. Doesn't stop me coming up there every year. Thanks for sharing your walk

How have I not spotted your channel before now. You have given a fabulous description of this walk. Absolutely spot on. These are my local hills and I couldn't have put it better. In fact I haven't 🤣. Well done 👏. I like the solitude of the Cheviot Hills. Like you say you can be very alone up there after you leave the car park. Have you been up from College Valley .....if not you should...its a beauty 😍. Thanks for sharing

Yep, I can imagine. Summer isn't the best for hikes. Will be doing some ice and snow this winter

love the cheviots i like to go up to scald hill then on to the summit subbed your channel
