A winter walk to the highest point in Northumberland, parking at Langleeford and heading up via Scald Hill. Unbelievably warm considering the snow on the ground.

Looked perfect hiking weather, with superb views with the snowy covering. Looks like quite a few routes up Cheviot and every video I have watched it always looks so boggy, which always puts me off. To be fair with the frosty conditions it looked perfect as did the route you took too, looked like a straight up and down from the car park, so a good options for me at some point in the future. Thanks for the video, Like no.9, cheers Alan

First time I’ve been up there and thoroughly enjoyed it, a lot of people said the view from the top isn’t the best due to the flat top, granted at the trig it’s not but at the edge of the plateau it’s lovely! Plan for the next drought!! Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it. I did think of your video when I got to the top “Dunno what all the fuss was about!” Expected it to be a lot harder and take much longer. Was really lucky with the weather! Thanks for watching.
