You're right! she only does a half after blocking instead of a 1 1/2

Siimone does nearly all gymnastics at such a high, higher level… but Rebecca is the Cheng queen. No one gets the hang time, the travel and the block that she does.

Her Amanar and YDP are also much higher than Rebecca’s Cheng, sooooo? 🙄 didn’t think you did what you thought you were going to do

With a video like this it's hard to judge consistency. Rebeca's vault during PanAms was basically perfect, no human could do it better. But I think if you look at them across their careers Simone tends to do better.

Rebecca’s is the best overall Cheng!!!

Simone Biles is the undoubted queen of gymnastics. However, performing this one vault, Rebecca Andrade is the best.

I am curious to see what Maroney could have done if she competed a Cheng with the height and amplitude she had off of an Amanar. But quite clearly, the answer is Rebeca. She is unmatched-maybe ever so slightly trailed by Simone.

When Rebeca continues to compete the Cheng over a period longer than 3 years and win as much then she may be deemed unmatched but she has not done ANYTHING that anyone else has not done before.

@@lonelyhorse5313 Skinner outscored Angelina by a significant margin in Tokyo as she fixed her block to be two hands. Mykayla's legs are kept together, less piking off the table, axis is kept consistent while twisting (Angelina's torso is way ahead of her legs so she twists into the ground), and far, far higher chest position on landing. Not to mention Skinner competed this vault for 8 years while Angelina did it for a couple weeks. Paseka on the other hand did the vault for a long time like Skinner did, but her form in all phases of flight was significantly worse. Paseka's Amanar block was far better than Skinner's in terms of height and distance, but Paseka's Cheng is similarly small as MyKayla's. But at least she is closer to MyKayla than Melnikova. But still far worse especially with the starfish takeoff which is far uglier than Skinner's takeoff. You need to learn how to watch gymnastics better.

Simone is amazing and consistent, but the best form in the air and execution on this vault is from Rebeca. It's no wonder she achieved an E-score of 9.733 on this vault at an international championship, something that Simone has only achieved at domestic events in her country.

Cheng Fei for form, Rebecca for height and Simone for travel. Because she has been competing, with distinction I might add, this vault longer than the other two however, I will say overall Simone is the queen.

@@GymnasticVisions My comment has nothing to do with the other vaults she has competed it is all about the Cheng. Simone has competed it longer than either Rebeca or Cheng herself.

Simone's Cheng on average is better than Rebeca's average, but Rebeca's best (Pan Ams 2023) was better than Simone's best (Nationals 2021 Day 1)

Rebeca is 2x world champion and 1x olympic champion, and she has achieved it all in the past two years ONLY because of the injuries. Besides, you're missing the fact that she's competing the Cheng just for these past 2 years (considering the major tournaments). So it's not fair talk about "average" when she was forced to pause her carrer many times.

@@aliciamcdonald7105 Okay let's remember. Rebeca's FIRST world championship was just in 2018 and in her first olympic games she was not 100%. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 she battled against injuries and had to play it safe. It's really impressive how she came from nowhere, recovered herself and became one of the greatest in a short period. Now she's competing face to face with Simone, who had the privilege of being fisically 100% her entire carreer. Y'all need to take it easy with these comparisons

Rebecca's might be scoring highest right now - but Simone's has so much extra power she can add another half twist to do the Biles. She's been training it too so chances are she won't be stopping at a Cheng in 2024.

Maybe Rebecca's is a hair better than Simone's. Rebecca's has that beautiful arc and her hips are so high after the first half flip, she has all the time in the world for the last full flip. Simone's might get more distance tho. Both are pretty much perfect.

Rebeca does the cheng like Simone does the moors. But on vault that particular technique looks rather appealing. I’d say she’s number 1. But her height and distance don’t compare to Simone, who I’d say is a close 2nd.
