Cross the black communities safely .. ain’t no shame in their racist game.. seriously must u promote your racist sentiments in the dramas .. there enough division and u just have to add to that hah .. if its the writers I can’t just blame the writers cause the actors read these scripts and u can’t say someone forced you to say such nastiness … if it’s the subbers adding their own nasty racism comments … I say that because I have watched some dramas on you tube and the subbers add conversations that were not in the original drama that got aired … that is why when Netflix or other platforms like them buy the rights to air these drama it takes some time cause they have to make sure the subbing content is accurate according to the original airing and I am sure those racist comments would get noticed and taken out or drama itself would get passed over by the major platforms interested in airing that Drama .. it’s sickening that those racist comments got missed and this drama was even aired

was looking for the comment. like what does "close to black communities" even mean. Why does proximity to blackness automatically indicate proximity to danger or crime.

"Close to a dangerous neighborhood," would have worked here, but I guess racism works better. Should I report for racist language?

Unpopular opinion that people will slam me for. I dont conde racism obviously - but unfortunately that comment is simply showing a complicated reality. I live in the hood and a lot of Chinese people who come to US cities for business or school which is most often the case, dont have good impressions of black neighborhoods, especially in urban areas for obvious reasons. No, many if not most are not safe. A chinese Phd student got murdered in chicago and in the last few years there were tons of attacks on Asian women in NYC by black men. That's the problem with stereotypes. There is always some degree of truth to it. Hell there are black people who don't want to live in the hood for the same reasons. Its an annoying stereotype but I wasn't mad at the comment and I'm black. Plus when you got rap music which believe was banned in China at one point, as the poster child for black americans, what impressions will people have? The same way many people think all chinese men are misogynist because of the abuse and domestic violence in some of these movies, people will see things in entertainment and make vast generalizations that will affect their attitudes towards groups. There is no such thing as pure entertainment that will never offend you in any way. Its a human problem. Frankly I watch tons of chinese dramas films and this is the first time I see a comment like that. From my POV its rare. Again just my opinion please be civil when replying.
