Could the writer make the fl any more pitiful? Her character is pretty disgusting. A man who divorces you to take care of another woman cuz she 's depressed - what a joke! Not a cold chance in hell that I'd give him another chance. That aint't love

Bwahh! I agree. The FL was like a brainless, spineless amoeba without ant practical purpose except to suffer. C'mon folks! The hubby was spending all waking hours with the mistress and wearing her accessories around the wife. He was even giving her the better roles and leaving his long suffering wife the crumbs. Aw Hell No! I wouldn't take his cold indifferent crap! DUMP THE CHUMP! The wife's cancer could probably be attributed to the hubby's mistreatment of his wife. Stress can kill folks! Divorce that lying, cheating playboy and leave for greener pastures ! Find a better partner elsewhere and don't go back to trash unless you're a sanitation worker! If you are sick (dying) most certainly don't be around these scumbags! It's bad for your health. Don't let them in with a tear in their rootbeer and some sob story. They didn't care about your pain and suffering. Pfftt! Tell them to hit the road Jack!

What the heck?!!! Nothing in this show makes sense. Why would a man divorce his wife to marry someone who is depressed and suicidal? Even if that were real, how would that actually help? Wouldn’t she be better off getting psychiatric help somewhere or staying in a psychiatric facility? I haven’t even started on the FL yet.

In most short Chinese drama, the woman protagonist are portrayed as either weak and no brainer. You sometimes think if that is the case in real life in China. Shudder to think if that is the case.

ML did regret. He apologized, repented, and persisted through the late-stage-lymphatic cancer he found the meds and paid for everything. 2ML sold his house the first time around (right after her divorce so he let her go back to ML 2 years later when cancer reoccurred. She also found out it was her own mother (unknown at the time) who blackmailed him into leaving her for the green tea. The mom knew they were in love too so there’s that. Green tea kidnapped her, he got hit by magic baseball bat -(combined with the rest of the above, yeah, she went back to him). The real problem was their inexperienced acting? FL in particular was dull.
