If you ever run out of explosives and a door is very low on health, you can finish it off with bone clubs. Even better is the salvaged hammer (I think a full one does about 11 damage to a sheet metal door before breaking) and at a desperate push, you can use rocks. It's sometimes quicker to do this than to travel back to base for more boom.

3:10 Splash damage is a good point but I would say the durability of weapons is a main factor as then you’re adding the cost of a gun in too lol

there's mixing tables now, you can build multiple tables, and you can make gun powder cheaper in them. Also, having the ability to use multiple tables, you can queue a LOT of gp faster

how do I get the explo if they're roofcamping tho?

Tips on raiding as a solo?

great vid, you should make a video on how to raid the most common designs, 2x2's for example, how to check for door frames etc, aswell as what to upgrade first in a 2x2 for all the new players :)

Nope. What the silencer does is reduce the ballistic damage (impact) of the bullet, the damage dealt by explo ammo to doors isnt impact but the explosion after the impact, therefore the silencer doesnt change it

I’m new to rust and my boyfriend and I made a nice little base. We reinforced it with metal and even had two doors with code locks but somehow someone destroyed our tc inside without destroying our doors or walls? I’m so confused how this happened because I can still open the doors myself but they blocked them off with a crate thingy that I can’t destroy so I can’t enter in my base.

Note: Gunpowder is 2:3 Sulphur Charcoal, and 2:2 when using a mixing table. Never 2:1 like you mention.

You can also just guess the codes. Put down sleeping bags all over so they have their own timer and keep track. Most clans only use one code for everything. Save your resources for bunkers and turrets.

@@senpaikratos8741 Depends. A clan of 8+ people has boxes of crazy loot that collectively took days worth of sweat to grind. After the more commonly used codes you can crack a door within a couple hours give or take, dividing that time by number of helpers. It's easier than it seems, but speaking from experience, it's not fun until you hear that juicy little beep.
