The Cheapest Cinema Lens Money can Buy | Helios 44-2

The Helios 44-2 is a vintage lens released in 1969 in a place called Valdai Russia. It has an F stop of f2-f16 making it great for high depth of field photos and good visibility in low light conditions. The focal length of this lens is 58mm which also makes it a great option for portraits.
Because this is such an old lens you can find one on a resale app like Facebook Marketplace for around $100 making is an extremely affordable option for this amazing look.
Because this lens was released in 1969 you will need to pull focus manually as well as manually adjust the F stop with the aperture ring on the lens itself. You will also likely need and adapter if you are working with a newer camera. You can find these adapters on amazon for around $30 depending on which one you buy.
This was shot with a Sony A7 IV and edited in DaVinci Resolve as well as Premiere Pro.
Although I did some color correcting and grading I did not add any glow effects or halation effects in order to stay as true to the lens' capabilities as possible.
You may also notice some post stabilization due to the lack of in-lens stabilization since this lens was made in 1969.
Thank you to Jesus for helping out with the modeling
