What's up guys, today I'm going to show you one the cheapest apartments in Siem Reap in Cambodia. I will show to apartments that are really cheap and good. The location is super good and it takes around 5 minutes the the biggest local market in Siem Reap, 7 minutes to the Pub Street and 12 minutes to the Angkor Wat Temple. The apartments includes free parking and wifi.
Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.
Anyway guys, that’s all for this video, if you have any questions please comment below the video and I hope you guys like the video. Please like and subscribe for more videos. Thank you for watching.

I thought the same and "snap" as I too will visit next year to see whether Siem Riep could become my new permanent retirement destination. A musician friend from the U.K. is there now and has been providing good reliable insight. He shared last week that including Rent he is spending $650-$700 a Month and described that amount only allows for a very basic foreigner standard of living in Siem Riep and by that he means he wont starve but equally he cant afford to have health insurance, cant enjoy any of the night life or eating at western food establishments and in his opinion a foreigner would need a regular Monthly income of around $1200 to enjoy a real nice apartment and participate more in all Siem Riep has too offer. I was telling him about an English Teacher from U.K. who is there now looking for work and I couldn't but not recognise the parallels in that Teachers and Musicians are in abundance and although both there because of the location, weather, adventure of it all, enough of both professions are there for the same reasons and both finding it difficult to land long term stable income and not just volunteer work or in his case invited to play for a free drinks but not hard cash. Fortunately you and I will have our Monthly pensions to sustain us and it is this that I believe will make a potential life in Siem Riep a different experience to that of those who are not certain when the next income will come which can be daunting knowing rent etc is a known recurrence. Great is to hear that one can rent a scooter up to 150cc with no need of a driving licence (even although I have one) and although you need to be careful a great means of getting around, unfortunately my mate said he had to stop renting one to save money but I myself might be up for buying one 2nd hand as I love a scooter as a means of transport and discovering places. Maybe bump into you when I get there, you take care and all the best for your retirement.

A/C really boosts your electric bill, and you will never acclimate to the tropical heat. Every time you step outside, you’ll suffer. I allow my body to acclimate to the tropical climate, and the big bonus is also a very very low electric bill. Takes my two to three weeks to acclimate. (Acclimatization) Fans and cross circulation only. Plus dress properly, and eat and drink fluids properly.

I don’t use air-con. I let my body acclimate to the heat when I am in tropical countries. Fans and cross circulation only. Also keeps the electric bill really low.

£65 per month, that's £16.25 per week £390 for 6 months, it's not the Hilton but for that money what do you expect. I pay almost the same here in the UK for one month as it is for 6 months there, I'd pay the 6 months rent up front & use it as a base to travel around & explore Cambodia on a motorbike.
