This is a decent refresh for the Xbox Fusion Pro, but for the most part it sticks to PowerA's motto; if it ain't broken, don't fit it! However, the paddles were hella busted so they dropped them in favor of buttons. Which is a HUGE improvement in my opinion, both in reliability and usability. Hopefully, they continue making bigger and bigger strides, I think the Fusions have all the potential in the world they just don't utilize it properly. Anyways, I hope you guys liked this one, I always enjoy a good old PowerA review they're a ton of fun. If you went on to enjoy this one please be sure to drop it a like and sub if you're new. I hope to see you in the next video!

This man is my favorite reviewer channel on youtube, its amazing
Got to be honest I had the Fusion 2 for over 2 years and all that happened was one of the replaceable sticks broke, i replaced it with one of the spare ones but i contacted Power A about it to see if i could get a new thumb stick and they sent me a new Controller, i never used the rear paddles they were awful. So now i Fusion 3 (3 months ) and its been great so far considering the amount of times my sons Elite controller has had repairs due to stick drift. So Power A Is pretty good for me.

Just got mines today and it feels great. Easy to swap out analog sticks due to the faceplate, four button mapping and it's super light when compared to a regular series controller.

"That is how iphone users are crafted" F*cking THANK YOU.
I had been gaming on a basic AF (non enhanced/back button) PowerA wired controller for my oldie Xbox One S, and it surprisingly lasted throughout most of the pandemic (COD MW 2019-MWII 2022) with many hours of extensive game time before it inevitably succumbed to the stick drift grim reaper. I initially disassembled it and tried to fix or potentially mod, but inevitably my ASPD derived short attention span opted for saving it as a later "procrastination project". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Potentially revealing my Gen-Z age somewhat here, but I definitely have some fond memories (albeit short lived due to build QC) of a somewhat obscure and now fairly rare Modern Warfare 2/Xbox licensed wired Mad Catz 360 controller that had limited assignable back buttons. Back then tho? (get of my lawn Ha!) Such off shelf controller options where practically & conceptually unheard of! I used to sprint around maps like Terminal as if I were some freakishly stab happy tweaker via TAC-Knife and pistol loadout! Bwahaha! Anyway, being as it was a Mad Catz product? The permanently attached braided cable eventually developed an open circuit right at the top of the controller. Killing it. Within less than a year if I remember correctly? Anyway, now that my 9yr old is now a cross platform COD squad mate? I've been legitimately hankering getting a decent quality/affordable "Pro" controller, and I got to give many thanks and respect for you and Gamer Heaven's content, as it's been invaluably helpful! Seriously, you two guys should potentially do a podcast or live stream!! That would be dope AF! Thanks again bro! 🤓 Geezus this was a long AF comment! My bad. Iz be like dat sometimes... 🤪

do you know if the back buttons are detectable by rewasd to remap to keyboard buttons? otherwise, my biggest gripe is how they havent adopted the circular dpad dish yet
I actually bought one of these about 3 days ago. It's pretty good for the price but I had to return it this morning because it wouldn't fit in my ass.
I bought one to replace my Vitrix Gambit, the Fusion 3 had really stiff thumb sticks with large dead zones. The back buttons also read double inputs at times. Sent it back and spent the extra 20 bucks on they Gambit

@pissedpajamas5718 500hz is noticeable from the standard 250hz.
I tried it out yesterday and it seems a bit stiff compared to a normal controller. I had it on 5% deadzone on both L and R stick and it felt like the deadzone was a lot higher then it actually was. For being pretty light it actually felt very stirdy and the new back buttons take a few hours to get used to. Overall for $80 its pretty good.

The whole thing with rear button ergonomics is why I actually prefer the concept of paddles, as logically you'd have varying sizes and placements for a varying range in hand sizes and finger postures, yet no company does this. Which is also why I liked the concept of the paddle pack the first two Fusion Pros had, as logically you could have different modules to fit different styles, though it was never implemented in this way and, due to console limitations of never adapting to wider feature sets, probably never will be implemented in the best conceivable way. Controllers are one-size-fits-all, yet that's problematic when you look at how massive the range of just hand size is, and fixed front layout heavily influences how you grip the controller and where your fingers land on the rear, and what kind of posture they have; rear controls need to be a modular option for customizability, just like how we're seeing trigger stops, different stick heights, adjustable tension sticks, etc., just look at the KBM market and how many vastly different product options there are that span the range of human variance, yet controllers have been doing the opposite recently with centering towards a handful of common shell designs and dimensions. Though I feel like controllers, and really any peripheral, are severely overpriced. I really want to see the business side of these various companies and what the BOM and logistics costs actually are, I have a feeling any 'gaming' peripheral is _severely_ price gouged, especially at the scale these companies operate at, especially the ones that have units in physical retail.

Exactly different hand size but the same controller 😢.
I've used the Fusion 2 paddle/button controller for years. It has easily outlasted my previous Xbox controllers. IMO Fusion controllers are under rated and great value.
I had the fusion 2 and its a great Controller 😊
Does the fusion 3 can assign the "window view" key to one of back buttons?
As a person who played FPS competitive games on Elite 1, Elite 2, and then switched to PowerA F-Pro2 and 3, I can with full rights say that this one is faster and more precise than any Elite Series 100% fn percent. Keep up with good job Cuda ❤

It depends on what you wanna do. Usually you don't have to pay outrageous money to get what you're looking for. If you just need some back buttons, the Fusion is a great option. If you want back buttons and adjustable clicky triggers, Hex Gaming makes some badass controllers even though their warranty doesn't cover stick drift Or, and I absolutely hate to say this, but the Elite Series 2 core isn't a terrible deal. At $120 you can buy the metal paddles for less than $10 and you can have the most feature rich wireless pro controller for $130 with a solid 1 year warranty. There are many options out there! If you want hall effect sticks for reliability, there's one controller coming out very soon with that technology. I can't say right now, just keep an eye out for it on the channel in the next few weeks if you're interested!

I really wanted to like this controller. But upon getting it there's a few problems that I hope get fixed with a firmware update 1. The controller has a built in deadzone that you can not remove. Which makes doing micro adjustments impossible. 2. I don't know what it is but It feels like the controller isn't calibrated properly. Don't know if I got unlucky but at around 90% input it registers 100% input on the sticks. Which makes it almost unplayable for me. I ended up sticking with my victrix and I'm hoping they add a firmware update to address these issues.
