Speaking as an Elite controller 2 owner I can tell you that it malfunctioned after 3 months of use, had it replaced and the next one malfunctioning after 2 months, R1 only works 50% of the time this happened on both, and the left analog was left at a constant steady turn left on the second, meanwhile both my original controllers work absolutely faultless after 4 years of abuse.

I've had my razer wolverine tournament edition for at least a year now of heavy use almost daily my stick drift is very minimal. Lowest I can go is 0.02 before it drift ever so slightly. All the extra buttons (4 paddles , 2 extra by the triggers) work perfect. Would highly recommend it to anyone ! I play with the elite 2 on PC. Love the feel of it. I use the sticks on full tension and only use 2 of the back paddles for warzone. Havnt found any abnormal stick drift issues like a lot of people mention but i did have one of the rear paddle actuator buttons fail. I returned it within the 1yr warranty period and got a new replacement on the day plus my warranty got extended for 1 more year from the return date. Im in australia so not sure of consumer laws in other countries but i was pretty happy as it costs A$250. One nice thing i like is that as its a microsoft product the software on windows is flawless.

I have had an Elite series 2 for just over 2 years and have used it nearly every day since I got it. I have 0 issues with it. There's no real noticeable stick drift so far as long as I don't bring the deadzones to the absolute minimum, it works like it's brand new. The only issue I have is that my A button is a little soft and it has basically always been soft. The rest of the face buttons all have that distinguishable click when pressed down and A has always been muddy on mine but the A button is also almost always mapped to a paddle so it is more of a non-issue for me. The amount of customization you get through the app is way more than just button mapping too. Custom sensitivity and acceleration, how much it rumbles, where you want the triggers to register, there's a lot to it and each individual profile you make gets it's own series of customization on top of the button mapping. It's 100% worth the buy but I do have to acknowledge that I seem to be in the luckier group of people who just haven't had any real problems with it. Either that or everyone else treats their controllers absolutely horrendously.

This is a small thing, but for future videos of this type it would be helpful if you refer to the controllers by their names. In my case, and I assume I'm not the only one that ever does this, I was attempting to listen to the video while doing something else. You always referred to the controller as "this one" or a variation of that. If someone is only listening they have no idea which one "this one" is. No big deal, just a convenience thing for your subscribers I suppose. But it would be good practice in case you ever decide to do sponsored videos.

The bumpers will always stop working correctly at some point. For me its usually 4 to 6 months to when one if not both bumpers either stop registering correctly, ir double clicking. I have never had any issues with stick drift, just always bumper button issues. What do i do about it? i buy the controller at best buy and get the 2 year replacement plan. so when my bumper(s) hit that point of not working correctly i take it back and get it replaced and then get another 2 year warranty. if you buy an elite controller and dont get the extended warranty you are crazy to spend that much money on controller because it will wear out. Things are built to break to make you have to buy more.

I put a work order in and the replacement had the same issue so I just returned it and am waiting for the money currently. I'm not saying this to be toxic or anything, I just want to possibly save someone the month I wasted waiting for the controller and it's replacement just for both to have serious shot affecting such drift. From changing tension in driving/shooter games, configuring the controller feel like an Xbox 360, to making or mapping buttons for every single game and making a profile for each new play style makes every time i turn on my Xbox more exciting. The controller also feels very personalized, and with additional parts you can further customize the controller. Wide pads help with driving games, replacement short paddles are less in the way for more rapid taps. The trigger stops are good but i barely use them. Only in fast paced PVP games. Got the Elite 2... only thing I'm not fond of is the paddles. I have gorilla hands so having them so close to each other is a bit annoying, my PS5 I have a Riser4 mod on it that adds buttons on the back. Placement is great. If the Razer Wv2 was wireless I would have gone with it as I have a few different versions of Razer controllers and always loved the lay out of them.

Hey enjoyed your video. Which controller would you say feels heavier? I'm coming from just the standard Xbox One controller which was pretty light. Bought the Elite 2 and it feels much heavier (battery pack input probably). Just wondering if the PowerA is lighter or heavier than the Elite 2. Thanks!

I play claw and would try paddles out regardless of price or controller but with that said I have a 4 year old regular controller that I have played countless hours of apex ( main game ) & RL still works and clicks like new and no drift which is surprising to me with that said nice vid .

I was thinking of getting the Elite 2 but its way to expensive. Is the Power A Fusion 2 similar to the Elite 2?

The Wolverine Ultimate is designed for Keyboard/Mouse gamers. That's why a lot of console gamers are not comfortable with the back paddles. It's a different layout that's more reminiscent of a WASD grip.

Yep dropped my elite 2 once while it was in its case and now the left thumb stick is no longer smooth and the right bumper skips when I press it.

I am a pc gamer. Ive used the ps4 dualshock 4 which i gave away a while back and now im using powera enhanced controller (not the LED one), and it works fine for casual gaming but I want something better. I have found a powera fusion 2 for 49.99, $54 after fees and a dualshock 4 for about $60 after fees. Which do u think is the better controller for reliability and comfort use? Which would u choose?

I watched your video. I did want to offer a correction. I play on the Elite Series 2, and at 7:13 you said it has a 'Share' button. If it's the button I think you're referring to, it isn't for sharing. It's to toggle between different preset configurations that you can have. Which are up to 3 preset configs that you can customize in the software. I've not encountered a share button while using my Series 2 Elite.

If you actually watched the video carefully in those minutes. He stated the elite 2 controller doesn’t have it, rather than the powera controller has a shared feature like the Xbox series s controller.

I put in a minimum of 10 hours a week on my controllers My power As have always lasted about a year(common if your a heavy user) they are one of the most reliable controllers on the market....i would recommend them to anyone who puts alot of time on theyre controller and want a "pro" feel....also the extended stick has always felt like just the right amount of height qhere as others have always felt to tall ir to short to me

I have the Xbox Elite Series 2 and within the 1st 6 months the right bumper stopped working. Within another 3 months another button stopped working Luckily the paddles compensate for that bit also ruins the way that I wanted to use my paddles, which was for the face buttons.

You gave the elite a con cause it didn't have a share button. That's because it was created and manufactured shortly after the xbox one x and BEFORE next gen consoles. They haven't updated them even yet. Other than that, solid review comparison. The victrix is a brand new competitor as well.

I have have 4 elite 2s and the all broke after 1month - 6months of use. I don’t throw it or anything and I don’t play all the time as I have a day job but is seems to always the be RB and LB that give me problems. I would advise looking for something other than the elite series 2….

I own an Elite series 2 for 2+ years now. After 6 months i had a problem with bumpers, stick drift and the rubber coming off. I had a warranty so i get my controller replaced... BUT the same thing happened to the next one, plus two of my paddle buttons aren't working anymore.... I must say that the controller feels really great, but the amount of malfunctions it too much given the cost.

So with the Elite Series controller couldn't you remove the thumbstick and put them into the top netted portion of the case so that the cable isn't interfering with the sticks?
