wow, the letter from the previous Marquis owners got to me. so moving...then you realized the scale of the movement to save and restore the chateau. It belongs to the patrons but you, Stephanie my dear are the ring leader, the conductor where everything revolves around and nothing could have happened without you. et Maria....omg, out of this world. you've consigned a world class pianist to slave in your kitchen. my word, she is totally brilliant. Is that Kat singing opera? my world, such immense world class talent and yet so humble. So happy to see Marie and her flower creations again. Well, looks like you have got the political support for the restoration of the lake/pond and Nik who even controls the weather and shift dark clouds with his mind. what a brilliant wizard you've got there. no castle should be without a good wizard.

I have been a subscriber for a long time and watched LaLande evolve with Stephanie’s incredible hard work and steadfast vision. Her magnetic personality has drawn such a wonderful group of talented, caring and supportive friends into her charismatic orbit, it I joy to behold. Her love of beautiful French art and history drew my husband of nearly 50 years and myself to Paris in May. A trip , that without this blog that never would have happened. It was magical. Thank you Stephanie for inspiring us all!

I can’t afford to be a patron but I watch all the ads and usually leave a comment. This vlog was amazing seeing all the patrons as well as all the LaLanders together. Everyone did an amazing job pulling this off. I was sorry to hear of the Queen’s passing. She was a beautiful soul who served her country with grace, honor and dignity. My deepest sympathy for all her countrymen as well as her family 🙏❤️‍🩹😢

If there were Emmies for KZread, this would blow away all the categories. Not only do you manage an incredible household for three very busy days while in heels and back pain, and create a joyous event for all us no. Patteons, but the videography without a team of specialists is spectacular.!!!. Somehow HRH Elizabeth’s passing, although so sad, marked the end of a era for LaLande as well. As you know, a double rain bow appeared as she passed and at the same time, rain held off for you. It is a new time for LeLande, Britain and the world. The very fact that we can see your life at LeLande is a testimony to the changes that are happening. Is it true that Marie is off to South Africa? Her flowers always fill and complete every room and their lack when she is gone is always a reminder of her presence!And what a tremendous vocal from Cat. Bless you all for bringing so much joy to us in KZread land!

Stephanie's Dad must be holding the storm so the patrons can have a glorious experience at Lalande. Stephanie has a grateful heart that's why she is richly blessed. Molly and Phoebe are adorable! I love the white bowl given by Sven, the food by Guillaume, Dana and Andrew, Maria and Kat's mini-concert, Marie's flowers, and Percy's parking jacket! I cracked when Gerry with his characteristic humor asked the patrons if they need an interpreter. And Philip - I cannot believe the planning and organization that went with this event. You have an excellent team at Lalande. Is this going to be an annual event? I bet it will get better every time.

What a great day, glad to be a part of it

Apart from the Queen's passing, it was a very exciting vlog filled love and laughter. It was so titillating I had to get myself a gin and tonic in order to be a part of the hoopla. I must say that Nick the tree man is quite a colourful character. Kudos to all.

Your speech on the second day was spot on. Bringing all the neighbours into the rebirth of the Leland effect has had a impact on all. And creates a fantastic community.

One class act. Steph, Mummy, Percy, Gerald, Michael, Nattie, Armaury, Philip, Kat, Kristie, Marie, Pavlina, Nick, Dan, and all the others who helped host this fantastic open house. What gracious hosts and hostesses. You made a memorable occasion for those who attended and for those of us who couldn't be there, thank you for sharing with us. We've never regretted being a patron.💝

It doesn't feel like a job (because you love it), but it is a job and a very time consuming one. We see 20-30 minutes of video out of dozens of hours shot, and dozens of hours editing. Dame Stephanie, you are the driving force behind the success of LaLeland. You are an inspiration, darling!

That was an amazing 3 days. I'm sure the patrons loved it. Everyone did a great job. MARIAs concert was a special gift! Thank you Stephanie for putting this together.

Stephanie makes being a patron worth it. I've been a patron to several other channels and ended up stopping because I felt they didn't really give much to it. I love that Stephanie does an extra video a week for us. Not just releasing the vlog early for patrons. I don't care enough to see something earlier to be a patron.

Sometimes a video and sometimes just gorgeous pictures with lots of writing. So good. And his channel is hilarious. His wife Camilla is a hoot! It’s called Magical Modernist Mansion

Stephanie says she understands and knows not all can give and if not it is okay. When we click above and thumbs up, it does help with revenue too. She has come up and over the point needed to earn for even this !,, So it helps even this way. Patrons do so much, but we all do what we can. But many things yet must be done and if anyone can it would be great if they did, as it can be very expenive to keep up such a lovely and large Chateau. But if we cannot we must not beat ourselves u, but at least we can do this much Maybe twomorow we wil find our lives different and can do more> We never know.

This channel really got me through the pandemic especially when I discovered this in 2020. It's so heartwarming to see all the patrons experience the chateau 💗💗💗

Basically, Lalande certainly stands for tolerance, a lot of love and happiness for many. But especially when I see Amaury's parents, it gives me a warm feeling that there is the right one for everyone out there. Especially for heartbreak very healing😍 The two are simply pot and lid - wonderful

I always remembered about them, but after they didn’t come along when he moved everything down from his workshop I thought they must be with his brother or a friend. 🔹It’s really lovely the way Nick the Tree Surgeon has become part of the Lalande family, and with mutual respect. I’ve gotten a bit better with his accent. I’m still not understanding everything, but when he was first introduced I was just hopeless. I loved everything so much I’m watching it again. What a wonderful event - how kind of Henri the Marquis keeping the nasty weather at bay. Everyone did their part so beautifully - excellent scheduling Philip - pulling an all nighter!! Philip must be thrilled that dogs are finally part of the chateau family. Really thrilled to hear the back story of Kirsty’s success with the dahlia bed; I had no idea and yes it is absolutely wow!! Beautiful food, (love the tablecloths Sara!!), everything was gorgeous right down to the best dressed Dana as day chef, Andrew as evening crew caterer extraordinaire, the delightful teas and lavender sachets made by Pavlina and of course the ever classy car park attendant Percy.

It was amazing meeting all of you at Lalande and meeting all the Lalanders. It was a bit surreal to be at Lalande and entering the rooms and walking on its ground, especially to get used to the different perspectives of the rooms and exterior. But it was a wonder to see all the care you all put in to make those OpenDays very special for all of us. You were all so nice and open, I loved talking to all of you. Some of the people I talked the most to: - Amaury is such a gentle soul, loving and caring person, I could talk hours with him, - Philip is radiating so much joy, passion and he has such exquisite taste, sense of details and know how to tell a story - Stéphanie is radiating this joy, spark of life, hopefullness about Life and she is an amazing being - Nick is an amazing person, I could listen to him for hours, everything he was sharing was so interesting, - Andie what an incredible person and artist, seeing her arts in person was a gift - Michael Potts, his photographies are really incredible to see, I really enjoyed talking with him - Chantale, Isabelle, Maria, Nattie, Kat and Chloe were so nice and so interesting to talk too, I really enjyed to talk with them, even if it was just for a little bit :)

I think, after seeing the front of the chateau, that maybe the best way to designate the main front door into the entrance hall would be to source two very large urns and have them planted or filled for all the seasons, with flowers in spring summer and fall and then evergreen branches in winter. It’ll be a good solution for the time being until the face work is done

So happy the patron days went well, it looked amazing! On another note, I was at school teaching when the news broke. Thank goodness I didn't look at my phone until the kids had left. It's such a shock and deep loss, even here in America. My deepest sympathies to all who loved her ❤️

Iv'e hurt my back too Stephanie, just lying here with a lap top watching this wonderful life unfold at La Lande. My black dog, Mr Darcy was very interested in the blonde labs, I'm sure he will now enjoy the vlogs too. Blonde labs are his favourite.

The weather was truly a blessing and then to see Hook's little rear end scurrying off was just perfection. @@annaheater8906 I think she is referring to Nick the tree surgeon / arborist. He's a fantastic asset for the Chateau. I don't know their business relationship, but the fellows of his caliber charge a boatload of money for what they offer. He has a small fortune invested in his mill and shop on wheels and he usually has his son in tow too. He looks pretty low maintenance, but offers a rather rare and wonderful service that's incredibly valuable to a châtelaine. Stephanie has enough wooded area of land to warrant an arborist that visits multiple times a year. The fact that he processes it, including milling as needed, is incredible. At the risk of judging a book by its cover, I'll bet Nick has some really interesting stories to tell. I'd live to visit Stephanie and all the Lalanders some day. As a horticulturist, Nick, Kirsty and Dan would all be Interesting to engage in conversation. Meanwhile, I'm content to peer into their lives several times a week, as they allow.

Thank God for his over seeing LaLande. I was in tears, I have been a subscriber and have watched ever episode. This has been a great accomplishment. And you all 8n white, Amaury's pups joining the family ...So moving. You have moved heaven and earth these years. Beautiful! Congratulations!

I come from the part of Greece that makes the best feta and cheese in general. Our nickname is "cheeses"! It would be great if monsieur le cheese maker could visit us and have a taste of all different varieties. Anyway, I'm so glad the local mayor and Senator are involved. It means they understand it is a project that benefits the local community and that they should help/contribute in any way that they can.

What a glorious three day event! I am so happy for you all and in its success. I came across a haters vlog who made the comment that you planned it during days that would rain purposely. Haters gonna hate. We just have to kill them with kindness and love just like Stephanie does. I feel sorry for people who feel like they have to tear others down to make themselves feel better. Their self esteem must be really low! 😩🥰🙏🏻

They must be very ignorant, whoever they are! I'm sure we would ALL love to know what the weather will be like months in advance from an important date, but that is impossible.
