Perhaps what warms my heart more than anything in these wonderful vlogs and videos is how rich and beautiful life can be when we come together as humans irrespective of our individual wealth or status, our colour, religion, age or gender and work as one. I've been watching your posts Stephanie since the beginning, asking myself what it is that draws me back to watch another and another. It is the sharing, the pooling of skills and the desire to bring joy to others that captures me. Chateau Lalande is alive with possibilities, it embraces hope and joy and like many I dream of offering my contribution to it one day. On one video I'm taken with Selmar, the next with Mummy, the next with Marie and I ask myself why am I so fascinated with the characters. It is because Lalande has brought them all new life, it has empowered each member and volunteer with something that we see so little of nowadays, self belief, self worth and the opportunity to be the best that you can be without reproach.This joy spills over to those who watch the videos and that is a priceless gift for so many of us. And the joy of that beauty is expressed wonderfully by Kat. Oh how I love to watch her happiness. She has such a child-like innocence. Oh how I love to watch Ian. Such a lovely man. I beg to differ. The intro is a reminder of the beginning when you, Stephanie, had no idea where this might lead. It should remain. When one starts a new business it is a huge risk because there is no way to know if it will take off. And you managed this enormous chateau dream project with blood, sweat and tears but above all with hard work. The intro is a monument to your intrepid spirit and grit. It also shows that throughout you have stayed grounded and real. However adding the updates so far to the intro would show the world how far you and your team have come. You brought all your dream to life. Stephanie and Lalanders, you deserve every bit of success and happiness.

That would be a fun thing to have in the house. It may take a bit of money and time to set it up like a hairdresser would have, but then when she does come all would be there for her to work with and much easier too. **If only the hairdresser was living there too then if they have lockdowns again they would be safe with their own hairdresser no matter what happens!***Just a dreamy thought. But she is able to visit anytime, so all is well, as it is now. Can almost see a beautiful "spa room" Great idea, I think anyway! Nattie's hair came out so nicely. The hairdresser is very good! Loved the fireworks at the end! Done very professionally! The sparklers are such fun always, " Ring of Fire" lol The 'fountain was beautiful' and with the 'Chateau changing colors' etc Eon is a genius too! I thought it was so cute and had to laugh when Selmar wondered 'if Stephanie needed any help, in his camper'. He said they had a 'basket ready to acceept .05 for the use of the toilet! ' Never can we leave our Diesal. Such a sweetie and he works hard to keep up, but he does it! He was excited about all the bon fire going on too.

It would be amazing for Annalise to have a spot to do her salon work to help ☄glam☄ up the inhabitants. Tomaz did set-up a spa room for massage & such, but as they said below it lacked proper plumbing. Besides, that particular space is better dedicated to prep space for 🍞bread & pizza🍕 baking when the wood-fired♨️oven is heated up. Since it is so far from the kitchen, they ought to leave room to set- up tables for casual dining. It looked rather perilous watching them carry steaming hot pizza🌡precariously mounted on paddles down corridors last time😨.

Finally something peaceful to watch.

Witnessing Kat’s delight made my month. What a fabulous bunch of people.

That was the giddiest la Lande blog ever. My face hurts from smiling. I'm so happy for Stephanie and everyone at la Lande. Well done, all!

Watching this a year later, knowing you all so well, I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF! You are all comedians. What fun you have, a joy to watch. My favorite was Selmar singing around the fire.

You need to install censor lights above each door out side. Cost almost nothing, but when you step out side during night, light will go on.

There are very bright and effective flashlights to wear on your head that would solve all of these problems... expressly made for campers, runners, pet walkers... and people who have to take out the trash at night 🤩

The lights on the château was a nice surprise- you ought to put some downlights in the openings where the boiling oil would have been poured

I think this is my favourite episode! So many exciting developments are happening at the Chateau, I feel so lucky to be able to watch them all unfold. Selmar, what a light he is! All of the things he has been able to achieve and will achieve in the future at the Chateau just makes me so excited. The whole team is just wonderful!

What a fantastic logo! I would love to see a wax seal made from it. For one I sent I used a company called “nostalgic impressions” and you can just send a black and white picture like the one you have and they’ll make one for you!

This is my favourite episode ever !! It just made me smile sitting here at the computer by myself. Selmar singing and poking the fire was absolutely gorgeous , Kat's childlike joy with the sparklers . You guys restore my faith in humanity .

The courtyard looks so classy. I must say, Stephanie is correct the dinky obelisk's do not work. Even if they were to scale, they belong in a cottage garden, not a grand courtyard. I swear my cheeks actual hurt from smiling and giggling right along with all you. Please to a zoomy chat w/ mummy after you show her what the lights look light. Oh yes, flowers are very rarely used on the facades/entrances of manor homes or chateaus. The scale is incorrect and tend to look messy, to informal for such grand homes. That is the purpose of the beautiful walled gardens on the grounds. I'm so glad she chose to stay with the classic formal boxwoods.

When the lights went on in the courtyard I literally gasp out loud it’s so beautiful,🎆🎇

I cannot express the extent of my happiness that your beautiful chateau now has this incredible lighting and the beginnings of a most stately garden. I truly love knowing and viewing this all coming together. I thank you, Stephanie, for leading, and all for aligning with love, harmony, and tolerance; thus allowing creation, enthusiasm, and Josie de vivre. I used to read many books from people who had moved to European countries, bought a home, and brought it to life, and fell in love with the place and the people. I collected many books of these, and enjoyed reading them, again every few years. But this surpasses that. You are amazing and special, as were they. There is this mix of beauty, brains, joyful spirits, and good intentions that brings wonderful things and people to you. And you are all so beautiful. And I am so grateful for you, Stephanie, and for all you who are drawn to her, and have been videos. I see you all. So beautiful, each one. Thank you for sharing with us. This is so enjoyable. Stephanie you must feel truely blessed -It's a thrill for us too watching you tick off all the things needed for the chateau.The garden around the fountain looks transformed. and now with the lighting too. The bathroom everyone will want to check out when visiting Lalande, the evening bonfire in the garden looked magical from Marie's floral entrance to all the candles and the happy singalong and sparklers. So good! cant wait for the loo to be finished... love the sound of the man loo too!! Oh I forget to mention Steve's art work -that was amazing. How clever to use the wall papers as background art...Cant wait till we can order Tshirts and merch on line!!

'Bonfire night' is so romantic! That really was exciting seeing all the lights shining so brightly and lighting a path to the fire! So nice. Selmar did a wonderful job, as usual! Certainly do see how the "Powder Room" will be absolutely stunning. The chandelier and the wall lights that will go up will look like they do belong in a regal Chateau. And they do belong in a regal Chateau! The fountain is getting better and better all the time. Such a fantastic job with that too. Everything is grandiose! Enjoy so much being able to take part in this wonderful life at the Chateau with all of my dear friends. All the friends on KZread too, as everyone is so nice! All of you seem to be some of the best!
