Sometimes I wish you would just let the camera roll 24/7. La Lande seems such a magical place filled with people who genuinely care about each other enjoying life. In these dark times of Covid and the beginning of gloomy winter it brings a smile every time. This was probably my favourite episode so far! It's so heartwarming to see the community you have built at LaLande. It made me realise that that is something I definitely want for my future. When i first moved out of my parents house i loved the freedom of being on my own but now in my late twenties, I realise how much I miss having people around me living in the same building. People to talk with over breakfast or cosy up with while watching a movie at night. 💕

When you’re folding in fabric to staple it I cut about half inch or so of card stock or thin cardboard to slip under the fold . It stops fabric from ripping from the staples.

You can actually buy a roll of cardboard just for upholstery. My mother recovered couches and chairs as a business for yrs.

I feel like I've been to a party...

I had such fun at Cat's party. I have a scathingly brilliant idea. Have a party for your honorary Lalanders. You pick a theme and we all dress up and send photo's. Whatdoyouthink? It would save a lot of food? Not to mention the gin.

I was so hoping it was THE DRESS as Kat loved it so much and looked so fabulous in it.

Stephanie's sweetness and caring was so moving when she gave Cat the dress. I think underneath Cat's happy-go-lucky exterior beats a heart of gold and sensitive nature. Everyone looked beautiful all dressed up....Marie and Isabelle were the hot ladies in red. Hanni with the backless dress was smashing. Stephanie and Natti, beautiful as always. The Dutch duo, Selmar and Philip, wow! Michael made me laugh out loud, although I don't know why (might have been the hair). And the purple, feathery gentleman - I bet he's tons of fun at parties.
