Whenever a contestant takes a minus sum I instantly start rooting for the chaser. You can tell the guys were gutted!

Imagine Charlotte saying: "Computer says NO" LOL LOL Her voice is that of a typically unhelpful sales rep, shop assistant or customer service.

The two women opted for Chris to take the highest offer, but none of them did. Charlotte even went for the negative one.

Taking the -1000$? You serious? You either come back with some money or you don't come back at all mate.

I find taking minus offers more acceptable than saying "pass" on very guessable questions (ones that begin with "how many", "in which country", "what colour" and so on). Nervousness is no excuse either - one should think prior to the show that guesses should be made on certain questions.

At least it's nonsense when you don't have much money from a high offer in the pot. If there's something like 50k already in the pot then -1000 is a different thing. Also "Krankenwagen" was pronounced like "Kröckenwagen"

She took -£1000 and was so annoyingly happy about getting right answers and then getting through, I wouldn't have smiled or been happy at all in her place.

Exactly. ITV should stop advertising their own shows on another shows in a different way than normal. Take it from an American who had their version ruined by a channel that 1. Is more focused on now showing Family Feud, and 2. Is called "Game Show Network," but can't even make game shows of their own.

What a prick that lady was...why bother going on if you're not going to add to the prize money...felt for the guys but glad Anne won..would have been sick if that lady got money she didn't deserve....booooooò. ..!

It's a shame that some contestants go into this with such a lack of confidence, and short-change themselves and the other members of the team as a result. If I'd been Charlotte, I would have gone for the 3 K if I could do with the money, or the 53 K otherwise.

You have to factor in that some of the rapid fire questions for the individual rounds are harder than others, skewing the results.

I simply had the whole episode on my laptop (probably saved from when it was on youtube before). Then I uploaded it. Had to sign away any money though as the rights belong to ITV.

Is that Charlotte a ringer? She looks and sounds familiar and she not only took the minus offer but she was very quick to buzz in on the Douglas Adams question and then pass it. Many of the other questions went hanging for seconds longer and she didn't feel the need to pass them. I think she was a 5th columnist.
