The Charger Scat Pack is a good all around muscle car as you said. But the Challenger Scat Pack is the muscle car for me. I don't want 4 doors. But that's just our preference. No right or wrong.

I had a 21 scat, traded it for a scat charger and ended up going back to the challenge the way it feels is definitely better than the charge to me

@@kinggk1832I did the same. Had a 2021 WideBody Charger Scat and traded it in for a 2022 WideBody Challenger Scat. I liked having 4 doors but the Challenger is the muscle car I always wanted.

Honestly. 5.7 R/T is best bang for Buck. Has 6.4 isn’t as moddable and cost more on insurance. Don’t get me started on the 6.2l SC cat

Back when I owned my Charger GT, I moved from tech school to my current duty station, and moved so much stuff from my dorm, as well as home, in my car in the one shot I had. I had a challenger for a short time this year after I ended up getting in a accident totaling it. Missed my charger so much, I'm now in my dream car, 2023 Daytona R/T. Couldn't be happier.

As the owner of a 2023 Charger Scat purchased after much research, I agree 100% with your review. Your analysis is right on! 👍

Agreed man , drove my Scat charger from TN to Washington state with my family of 5 and we had zero issues , everybody was comfortable, everyones luggage fit in the trunk , and plus we had a lot of fun on those open roads 👌🏽

Completely agree bro. I’ve Had my widebody charger for a few years now and just having so much practicality makes it a no brainer for someone with a family or friends. I’ve owned coupes and it just feels weird not having 4 doors. Simple as that.

The camaro is a great car, but the charger is more space, it's utilized, it can take a whole family, if has more power, a top speed that's higher than the cars in its class. Things like that. Yes the others are cheaper, but what he is saying you get more out of your money because it has more purposes you can use it for.

@@Oliver-ft2fq Actually as an owner of a widebody challenger scat, I can confirm I have beatn 10 speed stangs, and camaros. A good driver always makes a difference as long as the power in each car is close enough. Though 500hp gives the car a top speed of 180 (my car has gotten to that, and other scats too) the fastest I heard of a 10 speed stang go was 175mph. Horsepower factors in an interesting way, and an extra 40hp plus actually more than makes up the difference. And the tourqe too, we have over 30lbs on both the other cars. So they weigh more yes, but the power actually makes up for it.

@@cross6588 Nope, the thing matters when you use paddle shifters, not my fault you feel salty for now finding out 5.0 stangs are not all that, 10 speed or not. And I am not the type to do videos when I race, I hit the freeway it's both hands on the wheel, I'll have fun but I won't risk a person's life. I have done it, friends have done it and you can find a few specimens out there who also have done it. Do your research.

You know back in my day I say my day I will be 55 in September people make a big deal out of horsepower anymore the 6.6 l big block V8 trans am Smokey and the bandit it was a beautiful car only put out 200 hp so 485 horsepower is a lot of power my Challenger is 305 horsepower and it does me just fine plus it's all I can afford but I love your videos and you're absolutely correct about social media it doesn't matter what you own that doesn't make the person you by what you can afford a lot of these people around here buying these vehicles and getting them repo because they can't make the payments I like how you keep things real and you never put another person down for what they have or what they can afford to buy God bless sir

The fact that scatpacks are costing as much as zl1s and being slower than base model v8s for both ford and Chevy makes it not the best value for muscle cars. It’s a great car for having 5 seats and trunk space and that’s the only reason I want mopar, but performance wise Chevy and ford mops the floor with dodge

I own a 2022 10 speed 5.0 and when I try to roll race a Scat they actually respect my car then humbly accept they won’t win and some just race for fun.

Im a mustang guy all day long but if i ever decided to do something different i would pick the challenger scatpack im a big fan of classic muscle cars and i like the retro look that it has and the backseat in those are pretty decent but like i said im a mustang guy so im gonna stick with that but if i ever win the lottery or come into some big money i would definitely get a challenger hellcat or demon

Hp isnt everything considering 10sps have been beating scats stock for stock

The 2023 mustang gt starts at 38k with 450 horses the mach 1 starts at 58k with 470 hp you got those numbers mixed up

I loved my 20 Charger R/T Plus. Prices just have gotten out of hand. Paid 38k in August 2020 out the door, 84 months 3.5 %. Sold it about 6 months before pricing went crazy.

I had the option to get a 2019 hellcat but opted for a 2023 scat because I will never use the 700 horses on a public road and the supercharger whine isn’t as cool to me as a big naturally aspirated V8

I love My Challenger Scat pack! Especially here in Germany it is really something special. But that is not the deciding factor. The V8 sound, the torque, the typical muscle car look and the feeling it gives you is unique.

And you can get killed by thugs for nothing!

Muscle cars have gotten so soft when we have to compare, truck size and gas mileage. Growing up it was all about power and racing, not stars in the roof.

Have you or anybody you know experienced ticking noise in your scats? And congrats on your new hellcat.

I agree the charger is the best all around car that's why I always enjoyed them. But as far as the cost now it's ridiculous and having the same lame HP as far as the scat is terrible. I've had 2 acats and enjoyed it but I don't miss it really. I ended up getting a 10 charger RT just so I had something to play around with. I just purchased a pontiac g8 gt and to be honest as old as the car is would wreck a charger with some simple mods we not even talking about putting a supercharger on it

Hell yeah. The 6.4 hemi is not cheap to mod and you don't get a lot from bolt on and a tune and the g8 gt is lighter too

The best value was 2015-2018 when you could get a 6.4L for around $40k!

The scat pack is lame as hell and a waste of money. The quality is terrible. Dodge/Stelantis and the dealerships don’t stand behind the product at all. Mine was loaded with factory paint defects and panel alignment issues. They refused to fix anything. I traded my “last call” 2023 widebody in on a ZL1 after 3 months and never looked back. Those ZL1’s are twice the car a scat pack is. I will also say if you want on that’s cool buy what you want. Just avoid Richardson CDJR off of central expressway go to Lewisville or McKinney instead.

I would agree, only if the prices were actually like they used to be, i think +45k or even more for a charger or challenger is crazy, its nice but, hey im a solo guy most of the time, so its all about vettes for me🏁

No car is perfect . It’s just what suits your desire. For example the Mustang handles better, lighter and mod friendly engine but the Charger Scat is a better car if you want to share your ride with other grown people other than your girl & kids with a decent V8.

I smack 5.0s for fun in my scat but the moment they decide to boost its over. Their cars are boost ready, dodge and chevy have to reinforce internals to be able to boost. Coyotes can just bolt on a supercharger, tune it and be running 10' quarter mile

I fw the R/Ts and scats but for the 50k-60k range I rather get a M or an amg that’s just me tho. You get way more of a car for the price.

FACTS on what you said about the Camaro….. I own one and I’m here to tell you they’re very uncomfortable to ride in for long periods and daily driving, if you look for space and a comfy ride the Camaro is not for you. They don’t ride smooth either it’s like riding a wooden rollercoaster, but if you like thrill, speed, performance and looks go for it!

A 2023 Mustang GT premium starts at 44k.

It's also the slowest cause of the weight.also it's more of a performance sedan cause it's a 4 door.. All it's good for us hood rats doin burnouts cause it handles like a boat

Value is an interesting word. The GT has $4,500 in rebates right now, the R/T $3,700 and nothing for the Scat Pack. The 3 cars look the same.

You can get the v8 camaro with the v6 features for a lot less

Best muscle car period! Put 335s on the rear, get removable back seats lighter wheels and hood. few bolt ons engine mods, high flow cat back exhaust and a good tune get you around 550hp. on the street killing street Ive embarrassed a few cats but I guess all cars come down to Driver

Good thing Mustang is changing things around in 2024 with the base GT being 480hp. And the performance pack add on putting it at 486. Not to mention it being a little lighter if I'm correct. Downside is the space though. But it's still a major redesign with infotainment etc. Front end definitely looks more muscle than outgoing Stangs.

Scats are actually 500hp, but this puts the new mustang closer, but what I found weird is the 0 to 60 rating for the newer mustang is slower than the current 5.0 with 460hp, I just thought it's weird.

Perfromance Pack does not bring it to 486, but the Active Exhaust does it with making the car quad piped instead of double piped.

I would say the RT is the best bang tbh of the big 3 in terms of space , power, and all that. But im still a camaro guy

Between the gas and maintenance costs the Scat is still in the weekend toy category. The Hellcat is in legitimate supercar territory. That's the toy and a Corolla gets me to work.

The RT is a good powerful car. The take off is kinda bad, but once it get rolling it’s a smooth powerful ride. The ScatPack is most definitely the way to go without paying a crazy car note

I get 26mpg in mine, I am VERY light on the throttle in my challenger scat pack widebody.

I had a 2018 mustang GT performance pack. Had it tuned over 500 hp, which was plenty for me. It was fast and light af. The only drawback from stangs and Camaros that draws me to the chargers is it being a family sedan and sports car in one package. The Mustang was great until you had to do anything travel wise with the family. I will say a drawback to anything dodge is how easy they are to steal. I’d definitely install and hide a kill switch. My Mustang was a manual, so that was a huge theft deterrent on its own😂

Camaros r hands down the best cars to sit in. The driver sits perfectly

From a performance only standpoint, I’d say Camaros are the best. Forget trunk space or window views, Camaros have the best power to weight ratio which is more important than horsepower, independent rear suspension, much better cornering and handling than the other options, and they are extremely easy to modify and get a lot more power out of. Camaro all day

In no way shape or form is a scat pack gonna be the best bang for buck muscle car. A regular ass scat pack be 40k+ when a premium 5.0 is only 28-30k

They are not and have not been that for atleast 10 years. 2014 was really the last year of a base model being around that price.

Camaro is the best all round performance muscle car. You get straight line and track performance, the weight of the mopar lineup is the downside of their performance. The Mopar’s are bigger so will have more space. GM all day!!!

Grab them quick. I read Dodge is dropping the Charger and the Challenger next year.
