Great video! Love watching the snow plowing and Sadie's Snow Rolls; it looks like you may have some more content opportunity coming up this weekend with your Winter Storm Warning... ...that steep driveway was AMAZING for snow country; I bet it's pucker factor x 2 when it gets icy...

Amazing how you can keep a machine from flipping over by puckering up 😘 ... Combined with a little silent prayer😂.. It builds wisdom, in time!

Your son Owen is funny with his honest response based on his depth of knowledge . Good for him !💪🏽 He’s building up some amazing skills sets and it’s inspiring to see a young man working hard physical labor during the winter and throughout the seasons in Mammoth . We need youth viewing Owen working hard and getting it done. Ive seen your previous videos and it’s refreshing to see a father son team. Great job raising your son ! .💪🏽🙏❄️🏔️

When I plowed in Mammoth back in the 80’s I used block heaters in my loader and Mercedes to get them started. Dropping the bucket stopped any chance of tipping over. Your equipment today is so much better. Love Sadie doing her morning rolls, my Golden used to do that. Love your Pups and your work videos. ❤ Linda Loader

I had a Mercedes diesel once that would start when it was cold, but after it ran a while and got warm, it would not restart. If I waited until it cooled down, it would start. Problem was with the coils in the starter expanding and contracting in cold/ hot cycle. New starter fixed problem

Our work truck has the same issue with the truck gets warmed up. You might have your mechanic check the bulkhead (that's what our Freightliner calls it) it's like a master board. Hopefully, this is useful information.

Friendly advice, get your ECN #'s on your machines before the State fines you and even shuts you down. The fines can be cumulative.

I used to work at a parts store for a long time and your issue sounds familiar, but its been so long that I can't think of what it might be. Without seeing what happens when you try to start it, I'm leaning towards a solenoid or other part might be close to part of the engine that gets hot and overheats the part so it won't work until it cools off. If that's the case, you can make a heat shield to protect the part. Moisture or vacuum leaks are always a possibility as well, cleaning the engine would expose vacuum leaks if built up grease was protecting it. Also, pressure washing can tear up brittle vacuum lines or work connections loose. I would put some of the vehicle stats and the symptoms into Google and see if there are any discussion boards about it. Sometimes it is a chronic issue/mfgs. defect with all of the rigs that are that model and people will swap solutions in those posts. I've found some great info doing that. Hope it helps. 🙂

4:35 They always tell you, whether you're driving a manual OR automatic, when you're in snow or ice you put it in 2nd gear and leave it - and only give it enough throttle to start it moving, ever so slowly. OTOH, if you're driving a rear-wheel drive, may god have mercy on your soul. If you don't have chains you're done before you start. FWD or 4WD is preferred in this stuff; but if you've got RWD, put your chains on straight away before you even get out on the road -- and keep it in 2nd gear at all times especially in stop-and-go traffic.

We moved to ne Pennsylvania from Florida a few years ago. We got a foot of snow and i still had Florida plates on my car. No one would get within 50 feet of me. I grew up where it snowed so no biggie. At least I wasn’t that goober that couldn’t go. 😆😆😆
