100% agree. An aggregate of phenomenal artists who are musically and instrumentally sound. Gives me hope in this musical era in which we currently live. I was born in 62 so I know good music... And this is good music!!

Oxford defines "Torch Song" as a sad or sentimental song, typically about unrequited love. Leave it to our time-traveling minstrels to recognize Stevie’s lyrics for what they really are. "If you don't love me now, you will never love me again" sounds unrequited to me, and with her beautiful, velvety voice, Tawanda takes us on a whole new journey. Amazing: Not just a reinterpretation of an already-great song, but an entirely new creation.

I am South African and wasn't familiar with the singer. I know a Zimbabwean with the same name and was quite surprised when I found out that Tawanda's parents are Mozambican (a neighbour of both South Africa and Zimbabwe) and German. Excellent interpretation of this classic. I put on my good headphones to hear the bass, and I wasn't disappointed!

LOVE the blue notes, improvisation, and creative freedom…Well done, Tawanda and gentlemen! THIS one makes us ‘sit down and listen’! 👏 👍💖🎶

This song is very close to my heart. I never imagined it could be decorated in such ways, especially with a flute. I can't wait for your and Tawanda's next projects.

I love pmj but on this occasion when the dude slid in for a bit of flute action over the gossamer vocals, I knew that this was indeed, my cup of tea.

PMJ has offered sublime renditions of jazz over the years. But this was the best yet, IMHO. Scott - thank you for this wonderful arrangement, with improve at the forefront. And please DO ask Tawanda back for more. Her talent is so striking and I feel moved by her rendition offered herein. The instumentalists play so masterfully and with true passion... We are caught up in the music by this tight, talented and stunning ensemble. They are so glorious and I am enthralled. My respect and affection for PMJ and their artists continues to grow in depth and breadth. Quite simply loved this and am begging for more, my dears.

Tawanda's voice is something, but that flute takes everything somewhere else!

Jacob Scesney is genuinely one of my favorite musicians. He’s so good at playing so many instruments. And his tone on playing flute here is haunting in the best way. It gives chills! 😩👌🏼👌🏼

Her voice is like butter creamed with sugar. She's amazing!

Wow! What a different feel to this classic. Even more so than the live video of FM when they were at the 'hate' stage of their love/hate relationship. PMJ has some of the most interesting and diverse reinterpretations of music from groups you would never think could be jazz.

That guy on the double bass just seems to have some great fun.

They took one of my favourite Fleetwood Mac tracks and took it up another notch. Something I didn’t think was even possible. And I didn’t even miss my favourite part (British F1 fans from the 79s and 80s will know which part)😉
