From youth he was caring and compassionate and thoughtful he thought of his friend before anything and wanted to be there for him. All of them are victims but korey, he deserves everything good and God blesses him God kept him because prison wasn’t his destiny prison wasn’t his final goal. He’s the strongest and the most generous and forgiving person I’ve every came across and I hope and pray that I myself can be this forgiving.

Is so sad Corey can barely speak it's like that last beating that he took was a stabbing me he almost died really messed him up. I cry and hurt every time I hear him speak. But when he speak is so sweet human is forgiving is loving that is God shining through that young man. And I feel so bad for the gentleman who lost his father their relationship was ruined by this I don't know what I would do. I know he believes his son didn't do it he just really believe if he told his son and tell him what they want to hear and you will come home he really truly believe that and then they took his song and that relationship has not been repaired to this day that is the saddest thing. Was a young boy who had everything a loving caring and protective father now he has in his own shell with no relationship with his father truly sad

"Had this been the 1920s, the earlier part of the century, we would have all been hanging from trees in Central Park," said Yusef Salaam. How true. How sadly true. The lynch mob, in the form of the media, was out in full force though. I would dare say they received a media lynching. They will never get their youth back--and who knows what horrors they witnessed in prison?--but it's good to see justice prevail and for them to finally have their voices.
