Thank you very much for bringing a bit of Japanese summer to us! This epic firework was absolutely impressive, fireworks in Germany can't compare! It just went on and on, and just when you thought you'd seen the finale, an even grander finale followed! 😁 You all look great in that traditional Japanese clothing, what a kind friend you have!

I can't find the word to express the feeling when summer is about to end. Fireworks, matsuri, weather and eveything is just so nostalgic. I hate summer in Japan but I like it at the sametime.

I totally agree with you. Too hot , even humid. However it just makes your beer taste better and gives you unforgettable moment of summer in Japan.

The fireworks are definitely more majestic than the ones I have seen in the US. Just mesmerizing!

No place does firework shows like Japan!!

For YEARS I tried to come up with an American comparison to okonomiyaki. The best I came up with was a savory potato pancake, but the loaded baked potato is so much better because the variety that encompasses is perfect because we literally change it up every time we make it. If you guys get a hankering to fireworks outside of fireworks season there is a show down in Atami that you can watch from the beach and pier on the 15th of every month, rain or shine. It was raining last time we went so they mean it when they say that. We cut corners and all went in jinbei. We are so happy the new house is working out for you guys!!!

Fireworks look more beautiful in winter. Because the density of air changes depending on the temperature. A fireworks display that doubles as a fair is held in the Tohoku region in the winter, and it's a great sight to see as a selection of fireworks go off.

調布の花火大会ですね。今年は9月下旬開催ですが暑かったでしょう。 両岸に30～40万人が集まり南武線が破裂しそうなほど混雑するので、ご自宅からの特等席で見られるのはうらやましいです。

家からも見えるのはラップでしたね♪でも、間近で見る花火も音も込みで日本の花火ですから機会が有れば一度は近くで花火を見て下さいね❗

The ladies looked wonderful in their yukata.😊 Becca and Anna said it was tight, but maybe in a few more years they will have a chance to wear it. Lovely fireworks display! From the balcony of your house, you have a special seat. I heard that these days, fireworks are mostly computer-controlled. In the past, craftsmen used to do it themselves at dangerous sites, but now, because of computers, there are less dangers and more variations!

Can’t blame them honestly it’s pretty but It’s really tight, like a corset and almost impossible to go to the bathroom in it 😂! You also need to wear a layer of inner-wear underneath it gets hot especially in a hot and super humid summer like this year’s .

サミットを見て思い出しました！ 調布市花火大会ですね🎆🎆 中野島駅から少し北へ向かうと河岸から特等席で観られるので良いですよね🤗🤗

I LOVE fireworks! I spent the vast majority of my childhood years living where fireworks weren't available, so even now, at 52 years old, I WON'T miss a chance to see them! (One year, when I was around 8 years old, our town announced a fireworks show. And when we showed up they were shooting off emergency flares and trying to pass them off for fireworks! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

I've never seen anything like that display in real life and I've been to the fireworks in Chicago. Loved the excitement you all showed for this special event. The video was really good at the end with no soundtrack. Just the sound of fireworks and chatter.

「 #調布 、アリガトウ！👍 」がグッと来ましたが、 #グランド・フィナーレ かと思いきやの怒涛の #アンコール・フィナーレ で締めるとは、なかなかの“エンタテイナー”ぶりですね！ 👏 ～ こんなド派手な #花火大会🎆 は“初めて”かも …!? 🎉㊗️🎊

なかなか動画で花火大会の素晴らしさを表現するのは難しいのですが、この動画は良くできていると思います 実際には音のインパクトや空一面に広がる大きさ、芸術性、高さなどは体験しないとなかなかわからない 浴衣がきついと言ってる娘さんですが、そういう場合には作務衣が良いですよ 動きやすく作業用の浴衣のようなものです

Everyone looked amazing in their kimonos 👘, I especially loved the pattern of Sarah’s and how her hair was also. I’m also a big fan of Okonomiyaki. My brother introduced us when he was learning Japanese at university. I just really don’t enjoy adding the fish flakes, even if they “dance”.

New to your channel and have been binge watching your videos when I have time. I did see the Christmas short where you spoke in English and I believe it's Anna who spoke in Japanese. Tbh probably best in the world 😳 I've seen videos of Japanese fireworks displays and they think of EVERYTHING when it comes to designing them.. like all handmade.. like moving patterns

Actually Japan is so extra compared to the US. Outside big cities like Tokyo they usually have longer and more over the top shows. In places like Toyota where the car industry pays for it, fireworks last for about 2 hrs with competitions and music that matches the fireworks explosions.

Must be a horrible time for all the animals in the area, but it's not everyday you see such a nice show

You guys look so pretty and handsome. Okonomiyaki taste so good because I try it before. We have Okonomiyaki in MA. Look so busy for the fireworks. Yukatas for guys does look like pjs. The fireworks look so cool. So true not a lot space but close to a lot of things. When I move to my new place in a suburbs close to the city. Look a lot the smoke from the fireworks.
