The thing is that all this "new" content was done several MONTHS AGO. Before the actor's strike went underway. So the cast had to record all these videos before the strike happened. That is why this video has "previously recorded" when it starts. What this means is that we're actually missing out of MORE videos from the cast because they can't promote the show while the strike is happening. The writer's strike just ended but the actor's strike is still happening. Netflix and other corporations need to PAY ACTORS A FAIR WAGE and agree to their reasonable demands.

I hope the cast is actually having as much fun as they appear to be in these promos, press junkets, etc because damn, they're the perfect bunch. Love their dynamic and it really translates in the show. Keep doing what you're doing guys, more power to you!

My news sources on this topic have admittedly been very biased, but what the writers are requiring, are zero use of AI, and a heavily inflated writers room, where the company doesn't get to dictate which writers need to be let go, and this amidst shows failing left and right for a variety of reasons, poor script writing, character writing and narrative story telling being one of the biggest, if not almost every reason why almost every new franchise or big adaptation has recently failed, and that just makes this new writers' strike seem extremely ironic, almost hypocritical. Although these strikes have been a long time coming, the fact that we're not in covid times anymore, and people have less of a tolerance for bad writing, means that things will eventually topple on its head. Big changes are coming whether we want them to or not, and this strike was the last chance that all of the bad writers would have to hold onto a career within the industry. It's not likely to end in their favor, because the studios have a lot of money to play with, and with dwindling revenue streams as of late, I don't see them compromising much more than they've already tried to offer the writers but were turned down on it.

Also, I see them hanging out often on their instagram accounts, they seem to be having a blast wherever they go, and they seem to be frequently hanging out together, although it's a little rarer for Mackenyu(zoro) to be with them. I assume he's just busy with other shows, but I think they all went on a trip to japan about a week, to a month ago. Hard to tell when, since it was an insta post, but I think I saw Mackenyu there as well. All this to say, I actually think they're having even more fun off camera than on.

@@RS-fy9hb wait you're saying that it's the writer's fault that shows are failing? even though most of the times, the writers aren't at fault for the bad scripts but interference of the higher ups that want certain things to be included only because they think it will get them money or the tact that they have too little time to actually write good stuff since they need to reach deadlines that are waay to unrealistic? I was mainly thinking about franchises like Star Wars or Marvel here, since those two are the internet's favourite things to hate on, so I just assumed you meant them in particular as well. if those "bad" writers are so bad like you said, they probably would've been fired anyway, no? At least you admitted that your sources might be biased, but simply admitting to ones biases isn't really enough if you don't plan on fixing them properly. basically, don't blame the worker, blame the management

This cast is so loveable! I love their chemistry. I couldn't stop laughing when Inaki started to read the text. He's really the perfect actor for Luffy.

Man, I love these videos because they are so much like their characters that it feels like it's one of those fillers with the Strawhats hanging out and doing random stuff that I miss so much from pre-timeskip times.

Taz Skylar is a great frickin' reader, the writer of that script had poor word choices all over and Taz just self-corrected, basically doing his own job and the writers! Looking like a dream to work with, lol.
