Ay a fellow skamfam member. But fr this whole cast is stunning. (Also I'd kill for people to film a South African Skam here in Cape Town, that would be so great please. BloodandWater proves how Cape Town and the rest of SA as a whole are really beautiful and interesting places of culture n diversity and have so much untapped acting talent and potential.)

Ay Wade is my favorite character for sure, like for real, he's just that natural. I live for his scenes on blood n water. I love everybody but u just can't deny that you will smile when he's on or you'll just, well for me I feel more aware of morals when he's on just by the way I see him making decision. I feel like he's everything a person should embrace about theirselves I feel like every, if not most characters carry a strong theme through their onscreen lives coz no matter what they going through u can understand even if u haven't been through it.

But personally I think they will end up just being friends or by the time Puleng really likes Wade he would have moved on from her. But anything is possible this are a little more obvious points so I hope the writers are a little more creative

I'm so glad Netflix started showcasing talent and settings in Africa with 'Queen Sono' and 'Blood and Water'. Growing up in the US, we don't get a lot of exposure to other surroundings or accents and it's something I like to see normalized here. I think having a global platform like Netflix bringing these shows and characters and situations into our screens is HUGE and will go a long way to breaking down stereotypes. I for one am super excited for Season 2 of both shows and hope to see more global content from Netflix (and other platforms). Also, I love hearing different languages and both shows did a good job of showcasing that.
