In the case of the 9mm this machine's purpose is to just remove bulges in the base area of fired brass. With the tapered profile of the 9mm a push through sizer like this can only size the base and lower 1/3rd of the case body. It would be necessary to run them through a standard sizing die to restore the taper to the upper case body as well as establish the tension to hold the projectile. With true rimless straight wall cases like 40's or .45's this machine will size the case completely and make them ready to load. I ordered one to true up any bulging at the bases of 9mm range brass to prevent binding in my open 9mm major race gun. It is a cheaper and more available option for this purpose than the casepro though the casepro as a roll sizer does restore the taper. I will see just how well it works soon....

.I bought them a magma star with a heat base ,air cylinder and some dies, and many molds,,, but now they don't sell me the dies, nor do they answer, I also bought them a 313 die but it really is a useless 315- 316, I would think twice before to buy something from these people. Especially a $13,000 machine. Because you may not get dies or spare parts
