Glad you guys liked this video - it was an absolute pleasure to hang with Kirk for a few hours. And if you think he's got chops in this video, you should have seen the clinic later that day - what a player!! Go check his music out. Cheers to Kirk for popping by. And if you want to see your favourite guitar player in a Capt Meets video, then please just badger the shit out of them on social media ;)

This is my first introduction to Kirk Fletcher and his music. I made a legacy of telling my children that you are never too old to learn. I have come to a point in my bucket list where it is time for me to answer my own challenge. I am taking up the guitar, while I hopefully have a few years to become proficient (starting at 73+). Blues is my sole interest, and this will be my gift to myself, for all the years I set this desire aside for family and career. I enjoy all the videos you provide to keep us abreast of all the new equipment and great artists you allow us to become acquainted with. The journey forward will be awesome.

Heard him a couple of years ago, playing a Fender thinline Tele, (I think) and the sound he got out of that guitar was out of this world.... It was creamy, but still defined. He could have played threee notes all night, and it would still have been fantastic.. It's probably the best sounding guitar I've heard live, and I'm 54. I've heard a few...
