Great video, as always! After the original ones were putting out 5" groups, kind of figured the heavy barrel, "dmr" version would be hilarious. Pretty cool looking though! Course with all those internet SKS carbines shooting 1-2" groups at 100 yards out there too, who knows, maybe lots do better! ;)

Great video and thanks... Should you not bag the rear and the front to make the gun steady and take away the shooter s problem? It also would make even vibrations for the rifle and level sitting every time.. That is how we setup or original testing for a varmint rifle... then test the shooter..we also shoot paper to see the actual groups and measure. We aim the same spot regardless of where the shots land.. The ammo will be a big one as well..

My friend was shooting my side folder rifle and he was resting the barrel in the rest instead of the handguard. I just let him shoot it without correcting him but then after I told him you're supposed to rest the handguard in the rest not the barrel or else it will effect accuracy. Well be damned, when we went up and looked at the target, he grouped a 2" 5 shot group. So we discovered that if you rest the barrel in the gun rest, specifically the part where the gas block is, the gun groups 2 - 3" all the time instead of the 5 - 6" if rested on the handguard.

oh wow, did not know others used this rifle, in Quebec i once owned a SVD Dragnuov rifle but during the 1997 with the newer gun laws it became banned, i kept the gun but its firing mech is removed and blocked. i did not know the newer variant were legal in Canada, i do still see it in the firearms act of Canada this gun is still illegal, not even our own military are aloud to use these that im aware, Is this recent? like it now became legal but the firearms act was not updated? i really want to know since i really miss firing these with my dad from the RCMP, as it was my first gun i fired when i was 11 as my dad took me to gun safety and training. nice to see the gun's revival hope the laws changed so in Canada we can officially use it. AND yes im very aware of the issues of this gun, stocks breaking off and the poorly manufactured housing that made these things fire oddly, also the reason for the stock breaking or falling off, heck the Ye old Dragnuov never had these issues other then they used a different ammunition and there far better accuracy though very heavy to hold.
