Agree with you... the thing is, Debra's version of the events has virtually the same dialogue as Ray's, but just the characters' tone of voice and inflection make it seem as if Ray was the jerk and Debra was the innocent one -- which is pretty much what happens when my wife and I have differing recollections of the same event.

That’s the theme of the whole show. The family members lack independence. Robert cannot function, nor can Raymond. Marie can function physically (cook, clean, self-manage) but has no emotional core, needing to fulfill herself by celebrating her sons or p!sing on their wives, or yammering at Frank. Frank is a bumbling, grumpy idiot. They can only exist in their dysfunctional universe. No one else could ever put up with them but, while they pretend to complain, they actually need each other.

I cant think of name of can opener, "Swing-A-Way" or something like that. White and chrome. You just pull up the top lever, put the can under cutting blade, push the lever down to lock can in place, then just crank the handle. Can goes around and around until it's open. Simple. Lasts forever, never breaks. Just keep it clean. Might have to sharpen blade every 20 yrs. It swings from left to right on wall mount.
